This place is fantastic. Extremely clean, very friendly, family run and it shows. My Spanish is not very good and there was always someone who spoke English to help me. The breakfast is the best, enough to keep me going until supper time. Close enough to walk to the Botanical Gardens, the Old Town, and the tour bus. I'll never...

This is a so far one of the best places I stayed. My room was in the garden side, very very clean and next to the shower. There is hot water (water is slow and not much) and the shower is also very clean. The price includes breakfast which is also very good. Fruits, eggs, fresh juice and fresh bread,...

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for about one week. The place is cozy and well maintained. Superfriendly staff, the office staff are also very knowlegeable about Quito and helped me find a lot of places! Very good wifi, relatively good breakfast, clean rooms. We recommend it!

What a pleasant experience! English speaking owners are very kind, helpful. Many services: lugage rooms; laundry; private airport transport; private tours with fantastic bilingual guide. Around the house is a small courtyard with high walls, a large iron gate is locked. We felt very safe.

A good hostel to stay in at the edge of la mariscal in walking distance to anything you need and the party scene. The rooms and facilities are clean, the beds comfortable and it is quiet at night so you can sleep well !

Lovely hostel, was on a volunteering trip with members of Girlguiding. Stayed a few days at the start of the trip here and couple of days before flying back home. Very clean and accommodating, lovely breakfast each morning and general atmosphere was good. Would definitely recommend and use again if I come to Ecuador again.

We really enjoyed staying here while in Quito. The hotel is in walking distance to a street with lots of good restaurants, and not too far of a cab drive from the city's historic center. The beds were very comfortable, and the breakfast service was a nice addition. It's a great value, and I will plan to book again the...

The building has charm with a family history. Very secure. The free city tour was very good, although we didn't know if it was going until the morning of, so was a bit difficult to do planning. The location was good - close to the tram system. The breakfast was filling and good quantity. Price was very good for Quito....

A lovely old home with lots of charm and character. I stayed in one of the small rooms out back that were once servant quarters. I was very comfortable there and slept well. Breakfast was quite nice, though I don't recall if it was included or not (I want to say it was). The staff were all very friendly and...

This is an antique Mansion, part of the city's heritage. It used to be owned by the Quitea aristocracy of the first years in the 20th Century. Run by Pilar, even she speaks 'poquito' English, you will always have a smiling face trying to suit your needs. Anyway, there is always someone around who speaks English. We have first quality bedrooms, with private/shared bathrooms and 24 hours hot water, TV, phone, wireless Internet, security boxes, wake up call and daily room service. ... more   less
