Since we have 2 teenagers, we needed a place with its of beds. We snagged one of the bigger rooms which gave us 5 or 6 beds to spread out on. After arriving VERY early off the redeye from houston, they stored our bags and gave us a really really nice breakfast before we hit the town to see the...

I would probably concur with the last reviewer, that with a bit more about them, these guys could make Sakti a little gold mine. The breakfast was different every day, two courses, only one day seemed a bit lazy, otherwise it was by far the best inclusive breakfasts we have had. We too were charged the Ecuadorian tax, which I...

Stayed here upon recommendation of a local in Mindo. Is attached to a Vegetarian restaurant (restaurant definitely worth visiting....food is quality, wholesome, well cooked and well priced). Primary focus is on the restaurant and the accommodation seems to be an afterthought. Minimal welcome when we arrived, no overview of accommodation provided, nor information on local things to do available. Seems...

This place is well worth a look if you want a place that's centrally located in the safest area in Quito. The room was clean and functional with a comfortable bed. Unlike a lot of places that offer breakfast as part of the room cost this was excellent. We'll be back in Quito in a few months and we'll be...

I chose this hostel because of good reviews on TripAdvisor. Although there is no any mentioning in guidebooks. I guess it’s good. Because there are no partying people or drunk teenagers like in most of hostels. So this hotel is really very calm and peaceful. They have lovely garden and 8 cats. Rooms are on the first and second floor...

We stayed here for three nights and absolutely loved it. The rooms are very clean and tidy, the WiFi works from within the rooms, breakfast changes daily and is very tasty and generous, and the prices are reasonable! Also, the owners are very friendly and the Vegetarian food in the restaurant is delicious. I would highly recommend this place.

We were originally staying around the corner and walked into this place because it has a vegetarian restaurant. We noticed it was also a B&B, so we asked to see the rooms. It turned out they were cheaper and included an overly delicious breakfast. Note: it was different every morning, not twice did we eat the same in a 9...

The rooms at Hostel Sakti are basic, with twin beds, towels and linen. Some rooms have private bathroom and others shared. It is safe to leave your things in your room and the keyed entry to the hostel makes it very secure. The rooms are cleaned to a high standard and there's a nice garden area outside. The hostel has...

The first time we walked into the Sakti Bed and Breakfast in La Mariscal district of Quito we knew we were home. The owners are lovely, friendly people who will take care of you the whole time you are in Quito. It was such a refreshing feeling to be in the capital of Ecuador and feel so safe and warm...
