This place is magical. Mountainside rooms with views over Quito that cannot be missed. Lovely staff and personal service, nothing was too much trouble for them. The room was magnificent in traditional Andean style. You have to go here if you're in Quito.

The view here is beautiful! The staff told us they recently updated their menu to include more Ecuadoran flavors. We enjoyed the shrimp, risotto, and lamb very much. The food was delicious, the property is beautiful, but the service was wonderful. The staff was great at negotiating us a taxi back to our hotel and was so helpful.

I can't tell you how much I loved Rumiloma. The charm of every room, individually decorated, the warmth of a hot fire every night in my room, fresh baked cookies on the nightstand, peacocks strolling the property. Just Wow! And the food at the restaurant was over the top wonderful. I still recall the fabulous ceviche. Then we could retreat...

I visited Hacienda Rumiloma when it first opened to check it out for our clients (I own an upscale travel agency). I was blown away by the owner's hospitality, the food (oh those sticky ribs!) and the ever-so-chic and eclectic decor of the rooms. We certainly send clients there and now I go back - not for business - but...

location lets you be in the city in 5 minutes and at night you can be away from the noise of the city. it is also nice to be sleeping at high altitude so the trips to equatorian mountains will be easy to handle.

Rumiloma is one of the best, or maybe the best, hacienda hotel I ever met. Besides the magnificent view over Quito city it should be noted that it is completely surrounded by woods and nature, almost ten thousand feet above sea level, with fresh air but close to everything. Magnificent and comfortable rooms, with unique quaint touch of the hacienda.

My stay at Hacienda Rumiloma was one of the best ever! I have reviewed many hotels and I applaud it. Why? First, the Hacienda is located in a picturesque setting minutes from Quito's busy center. It is quiet and serene in this setting overlooking Quito. Hospitality is outstanding. I felt welcome and appreciated by everyone. Besides, gourmet meals and top...

I've stayed at Rumiloma twice; December 2014 and December 2015. Both times I felt like I was at home away from home. The food is amazing, the rooms are comfortable and incredibly unique. There's something special about a long luxurious Ecuadorian dinner with a roaring fire waiting for you in your room. Take the time to walk around the grounds...
