As a vegetarian it was quite challenging to find options in the area. We were so blessed to find a full vegetarian category in the menu. I strongly suggest the mushrooms casuela and veggie lasagne. The room has a nice termal bath and fire included.

The rooms are lovely and the staff is amazing. It is a short walk to the thermal hot springs but they have thermal Springs on the grounds and a private stone bath in the room with thermal spring water. The food was also delicious. There is a lovely hiking trail on the grounds as well.

The rooms are spacious enough, and do not seem to have heat which is quite typical for Ecuador. Some rooms have fireplaces, but bring warm Pjs cause many rooms do not have a fireplace. The thermal baths right outside your door are very nice. There are a few hikes to go on if you are there for more than over...

If you stay one night you can get a great deal: The first hot tube with thermal water (in your room) as well the first fire at the fire place are free as well as the delicious breakfast. The 3 termal bath are okay as well as the hotel in hotel. Nice place to stay, don't expect a 5* location....

We stayed for 2 days near the Termas Papallacta in Hotel Pampallacta. Even though we didn't had a reservation we got a nice room with our own jacuzzi. The owner and staff are friendly and made our stay really personal. If you are here, you feel home.

Gorgeous rooms and even better views! Each room has its own fireplace and large tub so you can enjoy the thermal waters in your own room, which was wonderful. Large windows so you have beautiful vistas of the surrounding mountains. The restaurant served good food (order the chicken pampallacta) and hot drinks, which were perfect after being outside in the...

During a mid-week stay, I had the place somewhat to myself. The bedrooms vary somewhat (I had two different ones). Ask to see one or two before you commit. Rooms were rustic - stone floors, walls -- rustic, but clean. Nights can be cold - they prep a fire for you every night in your room. Water is hot. Pools...

Hmmm. Okay, first negative review. There aren't many places to stay in Papallacta that are cheaper than the resort (Termas). If there are just 2 of you, you could probably fly under the radar of this place's weirdness and still achieve the goal of enjoying hot springs in an affordable location. That said...6 friends and I arrived after a long...

I stayed here with my husband and 3 more couples. We reserved a cabana with a private hot spring, we love it because we stayed there until late night....very relaxing! The next morning we took to the short trial (less than 1 hour) I love it!!! you get in touch with nature and enjoy beautiful landscaping. The brunch is really...

We had a nice family stay at Pampallacta. The room was really nice and comfortable. They have hot pools outside and hot and cold ones in another covered area. They filled our bath in the room at 9 PM, but we had to wait around 1:30 hour until the water was cool down enough to enter it. The fire they...
