The accommodations were very comfortable, clean and neat. The owner is very accommodating. She will help you anyway she can. It is a small hotel which gives you a taste of Ecuadorian life. You can get all your meals there and the food is very good. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at this little casa hotel.

In my pre-booking internet inquiries I specifically asked how close this lodging is to the heart of Quito and was told that "It's just down the hill from all the noise." When I woke up my first morning there I found out that the place is completely out of Quito and in another town. The included breakfast was exactly the...

Quito Bonanza is a private house in a pretty far away destination from Quito's downtown. It does not have any signage on it. A dusty, unasphalted road leads to it. To get to nice areas of Quito is a 45 minute drive in a car, a $30 taxi fare or two very lengthy rides in overcrowded buses (after the first...

Large clean rooms with ample space. Bed was simply delightful with high quality sheets, blankets, and four pillows. I wanted to take the bed home with me. The grounds are well manicured and beautiful. Nora was an absolute life savior especially since my Spanish is poor. (I was surprised how few people knew much English since Ecuador is quite popular...

Stayed there a couple of years ago and had a luke warm feeling about the gringo husband Patrick. Now he is prison in the states, Nora is running the hotel. Night and day difference! Nora is most kind and helpfull with none of the "hustle" of Patrick.

My husband and I, as well as my sister, arrived in Quito the evening of March 19, 2014 for a 14 day stay. We were picked up at the airport and transported to the Bonanza and in spite of arriving quite late, we were greeted warmly by Nora and right away we felt at home. The following day, however, my...

Freddie prepared a delicious breakfast and lunch for us and Nora's sister, Marcella, always fixed a wonderful dinner. We met some great people and felt like we were visiting family Our room was very nice and...

I can honestly say my experience was an extremely pleasant one. Patrick, Nora and their entire family welcomed me with open arms and really made me feel at home. I traveled to Ecuador to seek medical treatment, because doctors in the U.S. decided nothing else could be done to assist me. I am an African American female and I was...

The warnings you read about Patrick and Nora are true. The so called hotel is only a house located outside of Quito with a few detached rooms. The rooms do not look like the posted photos. Advertisements ask $750 a month for room and board. However, after I confirmed this price verbally 3 times before agreeing to stay at this...
