We spend a great week in this hotel which has a supreme setting in Quitos old town. The hotel is in an old monastery and has a beautiful interior with lots of antiquities. The Sanchez family and staff really cared for us, i.e. they called the airport a lot of times since our luckages was delayd by 40 hours ....

Really enjoyed our stay here. Lovely characterful hotel with rooms round central courtyard. Lovely large rooms and bathrooms with shower. Roof top terrace to relax on. Also really nice guest lounge and tea making room. Breakfast served in ground floor courtyard. Very friendly staff. Would recommend

Hotel is tucked away from one of the main squares. Beautiful layout and rooms and brilliant staff. Beds are incredibly comfortable and breakfast is terrific. Would recommend to anyone visiting Quito on business or pleasure. Wifi is great and there is a laundry service (but it's a bit pricey). The courtyard area is breathtakingly lovely and is a relaxing place...

We immensely enjoyed our stay at this unique, classical Spanish mansion held in the family for 3 generations. Sonia and her 2 sons were caring for us superbly, giving us advise on where to do the shopping, sightseeing etc. Amazing décor, clean and comfortable. We were also able to store our luggage whilst visiting the Galapagos. A charming place, perfect...

If you did not know you would walk pass the short alley way to this hotel. This also ensures peace and quiet right in the middle of the historic centre of Quito. Unfortunately we only had one night here before our flight home. As we had been kept awake a lot of the night before in a noisy hotel we...

We were enchanted by this family-run property. It's in a historic building (a former convent) in the Centro Historico, and it's packed with antiques and curiosities. Our room was not large, but with so much common space (there's a courtyard, a huge parlor and a dining room), we spent little time inside the room anyhow. The bed was comfortable, the...

This hotel is a real gem. Good location for the main town sights and friendly relaxed atmosphere. It feels like a second home. Amazing decor and antiques and clean and comfortable. What more could you want. The breakfast was good and everyone so helpful and friendly

I wish I could give this property a better rating. The common areas of the hotel are beautiful. But the quality of the rooms - and particularly the bathrooms - are 2 star-worthy at best. Thing mold and bugs in the bathroom; poor quality bed; noise during the night. The management and service level are also lacking; for example, they...

I wanted a hotel in Quito with the colonial charm I kept reading about and this place didn't disappoint. Great location a short walking distance from the amazing churches and museums Quito has to offer. Pros: Location Friendly Staff Beautiful Colonial Charm and amazing atrium I won't say 'cons' because this is part of the charm of an old colonial...

What a great find. Sonia and her two sons run this very unique bed and breakfast place in the middle of the historical district. It is walking distance to almost everything you want to see in Quito. If you cannot get to an attraction, they have a car which will take you for a modest fee. They will also take...
