Me and my friend stayed at the hotel boutique Portal and we had a great experience! The hotel is beautiful, the staff is lovely, the rooms are very comfortable and the food (especially breakfast) is delicious. Highly recommended!

This is the perfect place to stay in Old Town! It is right around the corner from the Plaza de San Francisco and walking distance to all the Old Town sites. The hotel is a converted convent which has been in the family for generations, now converted into the hotel. It has a beautiful center courtyard with lovely rooms and...

Sonia is simply the most gracious , helpful and welcoming hotelier I have ever come across. Her interest in her guests and concern to make sure they have a great stay in Quito surpasses that of any of the 5 * hotels I have stayed in. The hotel itself is centrally located for visiting the sites of the old town...

This is a boutique hotel in the Centro Historico part of Cusco. It's a 200 year old Spanish colonial house that has been lovingly restored by the owner to it's original majesty and is just beautiful. Don't let the outside put you off, as it's very misleading. It's a five minute walk to the Plaza San Francisco and all the...

The old mansion which contains this hotel is lovely, and it's conveniently located in the in Centro Historico, or Old Town, section of Quito, nearly adjacent to the Plaza San Francisco. The people who operate it were, without exception, friendly and helpful to us. Breakfast was adequate. As we found throughout Ecuador, WiFi access was iffy, but not impossible. The...

in the historic centre old Quito 200 years old hotel offers two hundred years old spanish atmosphere. Walking distanse to all atraction which offer old Quito, churches, bazylica, presidential palace all in old spanish style. Hotel os small with charming old style it rather is like museum in which you are sleep. Hotel restaurant offer good food in reasonable price

Location, location, location! If you want to stay in El Centro (Old Town), this place is hard to beat! All the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. The hotel is very unique looking and there are many interesting things to see in the many open rooms. Feels like staying in a very old home. We arrived late at...

Flat screen TV sets are in all rooms, but there is no TV signal, nor a WiFi signal in most rooms. The family running the hotel are most helpful and engaging and the manager, Sebastian?, is a star. However this most beautiful of buildings with its wooden floors and paper thin walls is not a suitable venue for a hotel.

Small family run hotel located in the center of Quito . Aesthetically, it's really cute and full of vintage items . Welcoming and familiar . The rooms aren't big , but they are very comfortable. There is a pretty little tea room, where you can enjoy herbal teas, that the house offers . Bernardo, the son of the owner, is...

I don't think it would be possible to find a better location if you want to visit the historic part of Quito. We could walk any place we wanted, and with the help of the hotel staff, we found areas we wouldn't have known to visit. The staff were very helpful overall. The only reason I didn't give the property...

Dear Gest Thanks for give us a comment. The buildings of the historic center of Quito, Usually have that touch of mystery in their buildings themselves which are produced by the building material for walls and floors, therefore acoustic sounds become louder, we feel very sorry about the inconvenience we will implement the respective improvements. We await your return. Greetings....
