Fantastic!! One of the sweetest hotels we have stayed at. Where to start? The location in the heart of the historic district was ideal. When you enter the Ronda it's quite and so pretty. Our room on the top floor(14) was large( giant comfy bed),clean(great bathroom) with a view of the hills. The breakfast was the best: fresh fruit, cereals,...

We had a wonderful time in Quito and the hotel was great. We had a clean room on the second floor. It was very quiet. The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was great. We explored Quito all day and had a great time seeing the city. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is full of character. The staff are welcoming. The rooms are very comfortable. It is a place you feel you can easily relax in at the end of a day's sightseeing. There is a comfortable lounge area where they serve complimentary afternoon tea, and lots of comfy sofas to sit and read up on where to visit next....

Room had great view of hill beyond with statue. Clean and simple lines in room. Beautiful tiled bath and colonial carved amoire, giant wonderful bed & bedding. Two French windows that I love, with French balcony. Inner courtyard was flower filled and lovely. Staff was helpful and friendly. We got in at 1AM Saturday, they got us a few beers...

A very old building turned into a lovely hotel. My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in January. We had the biggest bed I have ever seen - about 8 feet wide and very comfortable. The staff were all helpful particularly Maria who sorted out our local tours.

We stayed 4 nights at Casona de la Ronda in the Paseo room 17. The room was large, clean with a very good shower and comfortable bed, free wifi which worked well, with a view of the 'virgin'. It was a little cold and a heater was delivered promptly to the room on request.. The Ronda was lively and loud...

We love staying here. The building and rooms are beautiful but what makes this place is the wonderful people who work here. They are so helpful and go over and beyond to make you comfortable. I was quite sick from altitude after coming back from Cotopaxi and they made me tea and gave me oxygen and checked in on me...

We spent 3 nights at La Casona de la Ronda. I particularly enjoyed the interior of this mansion from the 1700s. The painted walls are lovely. During our large breakfasts, Aurelio taught me the names of the different local passion fruits served. The front desk arranged cabs and advised us on restaurants. We enjoyed this hotel.

What lovely people! Only here two nights and made to feel very at home, excellent breakfast included and sound lunch or evening menu - a plus as in the Old City there are few good restaurants. Traditional rooms, with polished wooden floors and all necessary facilities, though very short of wardrobe space. However, room felt quite small because of quite...
