The location is great, plenty of shopping and restaurants nearby. The staff is very accommodating though the restaurant, Cooks, is severely understaffed. The servers are running fast but there just are too few of them. And one big caution, we ordered two cabs one evening, the doorman told us to us the hotel transportation, so two guys in SUVs were waiting. The proper cab fare to the restaurant was $2. They tried to charge us $25 and take us somewhere other than where we requested. I would recommend using a maps application and leaving it on for rides, also get quotes in advance
My husband and I are Titanium Marriott and are surprised by the service here ( the worst ever at a Marriott hotel). Everyday we give the same order of coffee and they still mess it up every time! It takes more than 40 mins to get basic coffee. I can’t even begin to talk about the rest of the room service! Each order took like 1.5 hours. And the “manager” Carla is never available. All you hear is we are very sorry and mistakes keep repeating. We were here for 6 days. Gave them enough chances. Now we will change our hotel on the way back. If this is the service to Titanium members, I can’t even imagine how it is for other guests. The rooms (even the club room) has very little light. We had to ask for extra lamps because it was so dark and it is still not enough. One of the light is constantly flickering. The only thing great about the hotel is its location and the guy who cleans our room. Which is a new and buzzing neighborhood. …
The hotel was ok but we were unaware of the renovation. There are not places for seat and relax, the dinning room is uninviting and there is noise from the renovation. I had a minor issue with bugs in my room and shower (possibly product of the renovation?). The location is great, lots of good restaurants and shops nearby. The staff is cordial and kind.
We enjoyed our stay here as part of a travel group tour. The breakfast buffet was very good. There was construction going on so that was a little bit confusing in terms of finding your way around. The hotel restaurant was very average for dinner.
The location is great, but service is slow and food is bad. Front desk is very unorganized and not efficient. They had a hard time processing my requests and also messed up my billing three times until they finally got it right. I think when construction finishes it will be nice but the staff needs better training and the food options need to improve.
