Stayed 2 days. The building and rooms look well maintained and have appeal.
Close to the Foch plaza but far enough not to be noisy.
Our room was facing the inside and was quiet.
But, as is common in Ecuador, the shower/toilet rooms are smelly...More

Dear Windy A: the safer, easiest and cheapest way to go from the airport to the city of Quito is using the airport shuttle buses (they charge $8 per person). Once you clear customs and your baggage claim is finish, you get out to the arrival hall where the bus tickets can be purchased. The bus leaves just getting out from the airport hall (on the right side). The bus ride to the final station in Quito takes about 40 minutes. From here you can take a taxi (maximum us$ 5 or 6) to the Hotel Fuente de Piedra II, in fact a very nice hotel with very good service, a nice Breakfast. Hotel staff is very helpful and ready to attend your requirements.
