A friend and I stayed here for a couple of nights whilst touring Ecuador. This small hotel is highly recommended as it is in a very good location and excellent value for money. Our twin room and bathroom were very clean and tidy and breakfast very good. Dinner was excellent and there was an extensive choice from the menu.

Quaint place in a very trendy area. Close restaurants with fabulous customer service. They are building a high rise next door so for the next few months construction noise will be an issue. The staff couldn't be better👍. No air conditioning. Beds pretty comfortable. Locked our luggage in their storage for 8 days no charge while we were in the...

First, the staff here (Pablo, William & Carlos) are all amazing (and Pablo & William speak very good English)! Thanks guys for making our stay so personal. We were here a total of 6 days (3 days, then 2 days and then 1 final day). Our first 3 nights were in room #9 (in the courtyard) and with a 2...

I really enjoyed the Hostal's charm and the staff's attention to our needs. Unfortunately my one day there was spent in bed with altitude sickness. They were very kind, with cacao tea and chicken soup. My traveling companion had her phone stollen at the local artisan market and Pablo was very helpful getting her in communication with the police so...

The staff are attentive and despite being in the heart of the downtown restaurant district eating in is s real pleasure as they have s truly excellent chef cooking everything fresh to order and a small but well chosen wine list. Only downside is the area is best accessed by taxi at night (perfectly safe in day) but taxis are...

Quiet, small hotel located near Plaza Foch (5-10 min walk). Very secure location on a side street. Downstairs is very cozy, like a B&B, with library sitting room and cozy breakfast area. Room upstairs was a little small, but fine. Updated and very clean bathroom. Night manager was very friendly, helpful. Only negative was that the breakfast was an additional...

This hostel is really a very nice small hotel. Our room was immaculate and very quite. We had wi-fi in the room. The front desk was very helpful and not only spoke excellent English but also was indulgent with our Spanish. It even had a friendly bunny in the beautiful courtyard. We highly recommend it.

A very kind couple own this business. They can pick you up from the airport (for a fee) even in the middle of the night. The business is most relatable to an American B&B. The property is a beautifully-landscaped compound with multiple small bungalows. Breakfast was a somewhat-formal sit-down meal with the owner and other guests. The food and coffee...

This small hotel is located on a seemingly safe and quiet street although during my stay they were doing construction next door & the daytime was noisy. It's located a few of blocks north on the busier trendier area of the Mariscal. Rooms are smallish but well appointed (with a desk and wall decorations) especially for the price. Bed comfortable...

We enjoyed our five nights at La Rabida as a base to visit Quito for our first time. Great service from our late night arrival and airport transfer, to guidance on sightseeing areas of interest, and shelter during a few days of cool, rainy weather. Our room was basic but comfortable, and included bedside lights for reading and heat for...
