During my first visit to Quito I stayed at La Rabida five nights and was totally satisfied, so my son and I stayed two nights on our recent trip. Everyone is very friendly. Carlos and the lady that was at the desk during the day were very helpful setting up taxis, providing recommendations etc. Sitting by the fire in the...

This was the first leg of our honeymoon. They were so nice (Carlos at the front desk was top-notch). Everyone was there to help & greet you. It was close to Plaza Foch that has an abundance of bars and restaurants all within walking distance. Dinner was delicious - try to the chocolate salami. Room was a bit small but...

This is a lovely hotel, I would definitely recommend you stay there. The rooms are classy and comfortable, the breakfast is tasty and just what you need (fresh fruit, juice, bread, and eggs made to order), and the service is helpful and super friendly. I will certainly come back here in my next trip to Quito.

We had a lovely room, which although small, was very comfortable. The concierge, Gloria, was extremely helpful with her advice about what to do, as we only had one day to explore the city. She helped us out with postage and laundry, as well as coming out to our taxi to make sure the driver knew what we needed and...

We stayed here overnight between an Amazon and a Galapagos adventure, but we would have been happy to stay longer. The room was small but comfortable, and the friendly family ambience made this a great place to sit around and catch up on email. It is located in one of Quito's liveliest and most fun neighborhoods - lots of good...

Our family stayed a total of 5 days at La Rabida during the last week of July 2014 for vacation. The staff was all very accommodating and helpful. The breakfasts were simple, but very good. There is a small courtyard for drinking tea outside and, Brownie, the rabbit, is fun to watch. The beds are very comfortable. Very nice bathrooms...

We arrived at La Rabida well after midnight due to a late night arrival from the United States. The staff on duty were very helpful and inviting and got us quickly settled into our room. I spent five nights at Hostal de La Rabida in June (3+2) each side of a birding expedition, and found it a welcome home-from-home on my first visit to South America.
