I stayed here two different nights while on my trip around Ecuador. Both rooms were were great and clean. The staff was so helpful, even going above and beyond to help me with a tour (thanks Nicole!) I'd stay here again in a heartbeat!

Breakfast here is good, the staff are friendly and the rooms very sweet. We travelled as a 2 and a 1, and stayed in room 26/27 for the first three nights and it was nice to be on the top floor, as we didn't mind the stairs, but the room was very hot and the bathroom smelled of stagnant water. When we returned to Quito we had room 1 for two people and room 4 (as a single) and this was a different layout, also very sweet. Staff are very friendly and helpful and breakfast is good, bring granola, yoghurt, fruit and eggs. Location is good, near popular Plaza Foch but far enough away to not get the noise! I would say to improve, room 26 bathroom needs a good drain clean as the shower smelt of stagnant water and also, the room was hot - the window opened onto the landing so couldn't be left open without risking a break-in.

Lovely, comfortable hotel near the centre of Quito. The staff were amazingly helpful - we stayed there three times over about 2 weeks in between travelling to the Amazon and Cloud Forest. We had to leave early twice and the staff put on a lovely continental breakfast for us. The rooms aren't big but the beds are generally comfortable and there a number of good restaurants within walking distance. We can thoroughly recommend this hotel. All the staff spoke good English which helped us a lot!

Lovely staff, very friendly and helpful. I stayed here 3 times over a period of two weeks and it was a very nice base in Quito as I traveled to the Cloud Forest and then to Galapagos. I stayed in 3 rooms, all were lovely, quaint, Cody and very clean and comfortable. The location is great for local restaurants and bars and very easy to reach anywhere you may want to explore in Quito.

This hotel is absolutely charming. There is no elevator, so beware of the stairs at high altitude, however the doorman is more than happy to bring your luggage to your room. We stayed in a relatively small room, but the charm was top notch. No A/C in the room, but we opened a few windows and it cooled off at night. The staff was amazing. We were running late one morning so the kitchen staff made us a little to-go lunch! Their breakfast was sit down style and they served MANY amazing bites to eat. The location was decent, it seemed! A lot of restaurants and bars within a few blocks. The walls seem to be thin, but the only noise we heard was the traffic and constant honking. This was a common theme in all of Ecuador, so I'm not sure that is a reflection on the property. Thank you for the great hospitality!!!
