The colonial style hotel is charming. We had four people in a room at $115/night, a double bed and bunk beds (room #8). The rooms and hotel were clean, and it was surprisingly quiet. The breakfast is amazing and included, you can easily fill up in the morning. There's also complimentary water bottles in the room for you. I was...

Vieja Cuba is well located and kind of cute. The staff on site are terrific with the exception of the front desk staff, the woman who checked us in was the first face we encountered and although she did her job it was done without warmth or a smile. The breakfast was served in a very dimly lit nicely decorated...

We stayed one night in the marital suite which was fantastic and full of character. Our room was split level with the sleeping area being upstairs which meant that it was very very quiet. Downstairs had a sitting area, spare bed and bathroom! There was also a little balcony. It is situated in a quiet area of the mariscal area...

Excellent customer service with helpful, kind, courteous staff! We stayed a couple of nights and returned after a week travel for another couple of nights. Room 23 is nice two level with Q bed in loft and twin on main floor. Rm 22 in corner was not quiet as window is above kitchen area, noisy and cig smoke drifts in....

WE spent most of our time in the old town but decided to spend one night in Mariscal. We chose this Hotel WE were not disappointed. Our room is full of old Cuba character. We were disappointed that the restaurant was running on very limited menu but also grateful breakfast was included which we did not expect. The hotel did...

I can guarantee you that you will not find a hotel as great as this one. The Awesome Part - No room has the same style\size\decor. Each room is designed based on function and available space. - We were assigned Room 15 and if you can get this room, I highly recommend it. It is spacious, well designed, and best...

Vieja Cuba is close to the hustle and bustle of Quito but one you go through the gate you wouldn't know it (except that Saturday night when the dance/wedding was going on next door. But people need to have their fun, right?) Daniela and Tatiana always had a smile and were helpful. Mari put a smile on my face every...

Walking distance to plenty of restaurants and nightlife and the staff are amazingly helpful - advice, taxis etc, nothing is too much trouble for them. Great healthy breakfast to boot. The only downside is it can be a bit noisy as the walls are thin in some of the rooms. You can hear your neighbours easily. Ear plugs recommended, but...

A small friendly hotel near the old town of Quito. Close to shops and restaurants. Excellent staff nothing seams to be to much bother. Good breakfast of eggs, cereal, ham, cheese, fruit, yoghurt tea & coffee + fruit juice. Room we had was a bit on the small size but this did not detract from our stay. Did not have...

I stayed here for four nights over a 10 day period in July 2014. I was with a school party of 32 staff and pupils so not the easiest to cater for. We were looked after very well. The hotel is very well situated for local restaurants etc. as well as other attractions. The rooms were very nice and well...
