We stayed here with the family, this is a quite unusual hotel with quirky rooms, lots of wood and interesting design features - definitely not the typical hotel. Great breakfast sets you up perfect for the day and staff very helpful. Hotel is conveniently located near Park Carolina and lots of cafes/restaurants though I would be careful walking around here...

My boyfriend and I took our first trip to Ecuador and this was our first hotel in Quito. We stayed here for 2 nights and it was a great experience. Great good location, walking distance to Plaza Foch, $4 taxi ride to Old Town. The hotel had a great ambiance with friendly and helpful staff. The rooms were clean with...

Stayed 3 nights altogether in this colonial style hotel. Quirky inside, with lots of little nooks and crannies. Good sized rooms with small but clean bathrooms. Staff friendly. Breakfast OK, cereal, fruit, cheese, ham, eggs and toast. Good location, not far from Botanical gardens and only a $5 taxi ride to the Old Town, Basilica, cable car etc.

We stayed two nights here. The rooms were quite small but we were upgraded to a four-bed room when we asked. Wifi worked fine. The restaurant could not offer much food but the staff were very helpful and we could order take-away pizzas to eat in it the first night. Breakfast was good with a good variety to choose from,...

We stayed here before and after our trips so stayed in 3 different rooms. All were very clean and with various combinations of double and single beds, but all with good showers. The staff were really friendly, helpful and cheery. The hotel is close to a supermarket and within walking distance of a good craft market and several bars and...

This is a lovely little hotel. Obviously a converted residence, and all the better for it. The dining room is really nice and breakfast was a real pleasure. The staff could not have been more helpful. I nearly gave it 5* but they don't do evening meals. As a B&B it is worth 5* Wi-Fi works best on the (very...

This place was great! The hotel is well maintained, clean and cozy. The staff are amazingly helpful, always so kind and warm. Breakfast is basic but good. This place was in a accessible location and while it would have been nice to be closer to good restaurants it was very close to public transit and a short cab ride to...

Our hotel room was great - had 2 floors and a balcony. Great character. Staff were very helpful. Fantastic breakfast! Clean. Good wi-fi availability. Lots of restaurants and a grocery store within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again. Other reviews found this hotel very noisy, but we did not experience this.

Stayed here on 3 separate occasions in May 2014. Beautiful looking hotel, inside and out, in a good location in Mariscal. Wonderful staff, always willing to help, particularly given I can't speak one sentence of Spanish! Were happy to keep bags when I was touring the Galapagos Islands and Amazonia. Breakfast was pretty good. Would stay again when visiting Quito.

Beautiful hotel located in a good location in Mariscal, highlighted by excellent customer service. We stayed here our last night in Quito and really had a good experience. The hotel is very unique looking, like a big family house with a lot of different rooms set up in various nooks and crannies on different floors. There were flowers everywhere and...
