I recently visited Cuenca for the second time this year and once again I stayed at Casa Ordoñez. This family-run hotel is truly a Casa in that everyone working there welcomes each guest as if he/she were family. The staff is professional and helpful, the atmosphere is comfortable, beautiful and clean and the breakfast is consistently excellent. If you plan... More

One of the nicest B&B's we've stayed in. Over 200 years old but has all the amenities and is very well priced. Wonderful, multi-course breakfasts, gracious and helpful hosts (generational owners of the casa!), a truly lovely building. Would definitely stay here again (and again).

We spent 2 nights in this very beautful colonial style house located 5 minutes from the central place of Cuenca. Very good value for money. We appreciated the interesting talks with the extremely friendly host Señor Ordoñez.

Delightful from Maria meeting us at door saying she was expecting us, to the flowers in the room, to Edward and all the staff who were SO accommodating. We booked our stay online and were pleased with the cleanliness, comfortable room and bed, hot showers and delicious breakfasts. In a central location, so walking and experiencing Cuenca was easy. Chatting... More

Just spent a lovely week at the Casa Ordonez . Maria and her staff were just great people to be around and were very kind to me as I had just arrived in my new city of Cuenca. Very quiet and clean hotel just 2 blocks from Parque Calderon. Thanks Maria!!

I can't emphasize how wonderful the people are who run Casa Ordonez. They were attentive and extremely helpful when our luggage was lost by the airline. The hotel is in an ideal location, a short walk to the main square. The rooms are charming, as is the whole hotel. There is a lovely sitting area, if you do not care... More

We like boutique Hotels although not all of the hotels deserve that title....this one is one of the best boutique hotels you can find. Every furniture and decoration is well thought of. the service is impeccable and the location just a few blocks from the cathedral.

Four nights at the lovely Casa Ordonez in central Cuenca. Great location within minutes' walk of major sites, very near to main square and cathedral. Quiet, double glazed windows reduce street noise. Beautifully decorated rooms with high, hand painted ceilings sit around and above a traditional courtyard which has now been enclosed. Delicious breakfasts, wonderfully smiley and kind staff, fresh... More

Loved! It! From start to finish. I wrote to a few hostels to check for availability. Senora Diana Ordonez was the first to respond. Partly because of that we chose this little gem. Two days later we arrived, and we were personally welcomed by her. With what warmth! Sparkling eyes and with live she welcomed us. If we had hugged... More

Casa Ordonez has been in the Ordonez Family for 125 years. It has been converted into a wonderful Boutique Hotel or B&B. The Current owners Alberto and his sisters Maria and Donna go out of their way to make you feel at home and indeed you do feel like family. The staff is quite helpful as well. Any request is...
