This is a good B&B. It's conveniently located in the historical centre of Cuenca. Price are reasonable and the staff is generally friendly. Decent wi-fi connection On the other side our room was a bit dark and the breakfast could be better with more choice. Overall is not bad, but could be better

We decided to stay at this Hostel because the great reviews. The Hostel is central located with great views of the city. The rooms are wide and spacious, hot water, wifi works perfectly. The people at the Hostal are nice, they always tried to make us fell like home. Higly recommend !

We stayed here for three nights on a recent visit to Cuenca. Overall, we were satisfied, but there were some quirks that you should be aware of. First the good. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of the historic center, within easy walking distance of lots of attractions, restaurants, and markets. The hotel is located in a...

Small hotel with nice rooms and excellent service. Highly recommend. I plan to stay here again in November. Several shops and restaurants nearby. The breakfast is wonderful. Short taxi ride from the airport.

This hotel is a delightful respite in the middle of a very busy city. We stayed here for four nights from August 1 - 4, 2016 and could not have been happier. The staff is delightful and the breakfasts every morning were delicious. The hotel itself is reminiscent of a work by M.C. Escher with climbing staircases everywhere leading up...

Nice Hotel but overpriced. We stayed in this hotel for three nights via an offer on booking which proposed it at 40 dollars a night. We had a small room at the second floor. The staff is nice, wifi works perfectly and the breakfast was ok for Ecuador. However, the normal asked price is 90 dollars which is way too...

We selected Casa San Rafael because it is not affected by the disruptive road projects going in all over Cuenca. The hotel is in a beautiful colonial building. The staff were very helpful and friendly and speak good enough English. They assisted me In making dinner reservations and booking my next hotel in another city. Breakfast always included fresh fruit...

Our group of five ended up at Casa San Rafael due to a flight cancellation when hotel we had initially stayed in, for our time in Cuena, wasn't able to accommodate us for an additional night. We were able to arrange 3 rooms at very reasonable rate, considerably more economical than the other hotel, on short notice (our understanding is...

This really is a cool hotel and it feels more like a bed and breakfast. The room was very nice and clean. The shower pressure is incredible (We've been to too many hotels where this is not the case)! Also, the breakfast was great (and included in the price!) and served until 10:00 AM. Also, check-out is at 12:00, which...
