Sweet hotel, not too close to the main square but still close enough, less than 10 minutes away in a 6 soles taxi. Good rooms, great views. You can hear the river flowing next to it. Super friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast included.

We are here on a 30 day stay. 2 adults and 2 girls 12 and 17 y old. Calm and safe neighbourhood. The only sound during nighttime is from the river close by and that is just relaxing. Staff is kind, helpfull, friendly and speek some english if needed. They go out of their way to make you feel good.... More

20 min steep walk to the centre, but the neighborhood is lovely and quiet. Walk to the centre is nice. The team is nice, professional and great. Rooms are comfortable with a great view, place is quiet!

We arrived in this guest house after a long flight from Europe. They had organised an airport pick up for us. Anita, the owner of this place, is a very helpful lady and she speaks french extremely well! She arranged for us a 4 hour sightseeing tour of Arequipa with different stopping points which gave us a perfect first impression... More

we stayed in the Casa de Tintin for two nights. Nice, clean place and above all pretty quite during the night. Good breakfast and plenty. Good price point and easy to find. Would stay there again. Misty the Vulcano is right in your face in the morning.

Great location with lots of character and wonderful customer service. Staff is most helpful and friendly. Breakfasts are great with best coffee. They will arrange outings and provide helpful recommendations. Xavier was extremely fluent in several languages, esp. English and was most kind in his manner. This is a family-run place with a great location for walkers like us.

Positives: Sylvana on the desk was extremely helpful and friendly, we can't sing her praises highly enough! She spent about an hour helping us out - she called our bus company and our Machu Picchu tour company several times to help us when our bus was cancelled due to riots that closed the road between Arequipa and Cusco. We don't... More

We stayed for one night, booked a tour of Colca Canyon (which was excellent) through the reception, and then stayed one further night when we got back. Our luggage was kept for us, free of charge. Our double ensuite on the top floor (like an attic room) was lovely, showers were good (although there were some problems with pressure, perhaps... More

This is a great place to stay in Arequipa. It's a charming lilltle B&B with lots of character. The rooms were very clean and well prepared. The breakfast was also very nice, with freshly made juice, tea, coffee, fresh bread and eggs. But what really makes this place stand out from the rest is the level of service given to... More

We initially booked four nights here before a trek to colca canon. After a few days, we extended our stay by a week. We loved our room (with balcony and extremely comfortable bed) and the staff at Tintin are extraordinary--so helpful and attentive. They helped us arrange several trips and our bus tickets for free, as well as makings feel... More
