We really like this place. We stayed here for 3 nights in a twin room with shared bathroom - at a very reasonable rate. The room (#9) was basic, but very clean and comfortable; giving us one of our best night's sleeps here. The staff are nice, wifi is very good and there's decent hot water. Breakfast is charged as...

The hostel is in calm place, near from the plaza, the utilities stores. But the problem is there is no hot water and the weather in Arequipa is pretty cold in these days. Be careful. And there is not free breakfast. The break fast has the additional cost of 7 soles.

We had a brief 3 days stay at this Hostel. It was a quite calm and pleasant accomodation. Staff are quite understanding but lack of communication in English was a great handicap at this nice hostel. The rooms are nicely arranged in balcony style - with rare plants in pots - making this a really pleasant one. Breakfast was quite...

La Casona de Jerusalen is a nice little hostel, located just blocks from the Plaza de Armas. It's safe, clean, open, and overall cute, but definitely geared more towards backpackers or travelers, than couples. Our room was big and had lots of charm, as did the bathroom with the hot water!!! There was wifi and cable, so that was a...

We just returned from Peru and stayed here while in Arequipa. While it is very rustic. It is clean, comfortable, and more importantly safe. The unrest related to the Tia Maria was in full swing and the taxis would not take us into the city center so we had to walk several blocks to get there, but when we did,...

At a good price you get very friendly service, nice rooms with good beds and enough space, hot shower and a very good breakfast at their beautiful patio.... What else to say? Maybe the fluorescent lights in the room aren't helpful towards a nice athmosphere but fortunately the light switch was hidden behind the closet ;-) - two things the...

We liked this pretty, clean guest house. The rooms are large and the beds are comfortable and warm. The Juliette balconies we had were a plus for getting fresh air/natural light. Our room was pretty noisy as it was on the street side and light streamed in at 5am through the window above the door.

Really enjoyed staying here; the rooms are basic but cheap, the location is good and the staff made sure we were safe when getting a 3am bus to the canyon, they also helped us book an extra night at that hotel. Really nice place to stay.
