We booked two rooms for our family - a triple and a double. The staff, all of them, were excellent, letting us use the facilities when our bus arrived really early in the morning and were always friendly and helpful. The common areas, including the kitchen, were big. Breakfast was fine. The location is excellent. The main down point was...

We loved our stay at this hostel, good value, brilliant and extensive breakfast and hot showers. It's excellently located right near the main square. The rooms and beds are comfortable and spacious. We stayed in a private room and a dorm, both very clean. We left our luggage here while we went to the colca canyon.

I would't call it a B&B but a nice guesthouse. It is really big and the rooms are spacious and clean. We arrived in the morning and could have breakfast before checking in, good service. The staff was ok, some where friendly others not that much. The location is perfect, you step outside and you're in the centre of Arequipa.

We had one night in Los Andes. Room was warm, comfortable. Very close to the main square. Very friendly stuff, ready to help you in any time. Good breakfast. You can use the kitchen whenever you want. Good Wi-fi. It was the best place from all the hostels we had in Peru. I would recommend it to everyone.

Location couldn't have been better. Private ensuite room was spacious with a nice street view. Buffet style breakfast and guests are allowed to use the big kitchen. Very helpful staff. Not all reception staff members spoke English very well. Didn't bother us but if you don't speak any Spanish it's something to consider.

Great location next to Plaza Armas, friendly staff, good South American backpackers breakfast, excellent kitchen, great value ($23 for a shared private room), large clean rooms and shared bathrooms. We were given a free upgrade on our last night to a really nice private room with en suite bathroom. Good showers. Quiet. Only downside was that spacious rooms had no...

Stayed here in both a dorm and double room between treks in Colca Canyon. Basic but clean and comfortable rooms. Great communal areas including kitchen and roof terrace with views of El Misti. Very chilled out and always quiet after 10pm. Location couldn't be more central. Staff pleasant and usually a fluent English speaker around. Highly recommended and great value.

Stayed here as part of a group tour, the location is brilliant, perfect for exploring the local market and historical centre. I cannot comment on the cost of the hotel as included in tour, however having use of a kitchen was very welcome and a nice communal area. Our room was large and comfortable, not the best tv in the...

We stayed here for 3 nights during a trip to Peru. The hostel is located centrally, so a lot of places to visit are within a 10 minute walk. The room was pretty basic but large and plenty of space to store things. We booked a double room and were given one with a double plus two singles, so we...

Staff was really helpful and offered us a great breakfast the day we checked in and had the room ready for us extra early. Great location right in the middle of town. Also nice warm showers and comfortable bed. Super big hangout area. Thumbs way up!
