La Posada del Kuraka is a cozy hostel with a great location near the Monasterio Santa Catalina, just a few blocks away from la Plaza de Armas. The hostal has a common area with tables where people hang out and a kitchen with all the basics for cooking. The mood is quite chill, so I recommend this place if you...

The owner is very friendly and the location of the accommodation is handy. We arrived in very early and we were brought straight to our room which was brilliant. The private room had no toilet paper or towels but this could be due to the fact we had arrived so early and it was just an oversight. The floor of...

Double bed with private bathroom /shower for 70 Peruvian soles. Good quality. Owner speaks English and can give you some tips about tours. For us our friend in nazca called to make reservation in advance so we got the room but he said otherwise it was full. Make sure to reserve if you wanna get a room here.

We had a room for 2, the room was very clean. You've got your own bathroom with hot showers (works always because of solar energy). The "manager" is super friendly and helps you to book tours, buses and give you information about prizes. He also went with us to call taxis for us, and ask for good prizes. Its a...

I can't say enough about the owner of this hostel. He's so friendly, helpful and eager to please! Has great recommendations for restaurants, too. Clean rooms, modern bathrooms with hot water, free wifi throughout the hostel. As others have said, the view from the rooftop is hard to beat. Excellent location, very safe to walk around, near to all the...

The hostel is in a good location in the old town and close to lots of restaurants. We had a clean and functional room. Hot shower. It has a brilliant roof terrace with views over the city and onto the nearby mountains. What really made the place was the host though. He was super helpful and welcoming. We were both...

Located only a few minutes walking distance from the center, the hotel offers simple rooms with private bathrooms, decent hot water and good WiFi at very affordable rates. The furnishing is a bit dated but fullfils its purpose. What sets it apart is the owner who is very friendly and attentive and will go out of his way to help...

The price of the hostel was very cheap, but the quality of the hostel was great. The owners of the hostel were so hospitable, and they helps us a lot (they even managed a bus ticket to Cuzco) and gave us many tips. If I came back to Arequipa I surely would stay in this hostel again. It has wifi,...
