Our room was very loudy. The music from the nearby pub was very loud through the whole night. The toilet did not finction well. Also the taps moved. The "breakfast" was tea+egg. Not recommended. We moved out to another hotel after onr night since this hotel was not good for us

I made a reservation here because the booking site gave me a late check out which I needed to conduct business. I didn't get the feeling this was a hostel because every room was private with their own bathroom. It's just about 5 blocks from the Plaza de Armas. I was first brought to a room next to a group... Spent a couple of days here in Arequipa, very accommodating. No issues whipping up a quick breakfast when we overslept, no issues leaving our luggage when we went on a trek for a couple of days. Well recommended

We stayed 2 nights at Villa Sillar. It was by far one of the best hostels we stayed at. It was so cleaned(ALL THE TIME). Rooms are made&cleaned daily. We arrived in Arequipa at 5:30am, and we were given our room straight away, instead of waiting until 13pm like all other hostels. And they didn't even charge us for it.... More

We were transferred here as out chosen hotel was having some unexpected work done on it. Dont stay here. Its decor is very tired and dated, the breakfast bland, staff unfriendly, we were woken up by building work at 8:30am and we were transferred to another room on our first morning. There was also loud music on our first night... More

We stayed here for 4 days and we would definitely recommend this hostel for anyone who wants a basic place to stay. It was very clean, rooms are big enough for two persons, hot shower, decent breakfast( eggs, bread, hot beverage of your choice & fresh orange juice) and location is near to everything. Staff were helpful too.

We stayed at this hostal recently and of course had no great expectations given its daily rate. On the positive side it is the hostal's location (in the heart of the city); in the negative site, the rooms have no telephone so that no body can call you and vice versa. Most importantly, service was overall quite poor, like we... More

This was perhaps the 5th or 6th place we walked in looking for a reasonable accommodation in the centre of Arequipa. The receptionist was very friendly, we saw the room before deciding, got a bit of a discount and took it! Room was clean even very clean for Peruvian standards with big double bed, good size bathroom with fresh clean... More

The Hostal is in a very central position and you can walk everywhere in town center. The building is beautiful, it's a old colonial house with a internal garden. The room was clean, small and warm(Very important in the night!); the shower was very hot and we got the room everyday cleaned.. The breakfast was rich with fresh bread, fresh juices, tee or... More

We enjoyed the room in this hostal - basic but spacious and comfortable. - and the hostal has a nice, tranquil atmosphere. But there was an unpleasantness when we checked out and the chief receptionist insisted we hadn´t paid for the first night´s stay. We had, definitely (after we left, we talked about it and recalled the exact moment we... More
