We booked a private room with bathroom and we stayed three nights (split before and after our tour). The first night we stayed at the front of the hostel. A lot of tours to Colca Canyon start early in the morning/night so we woke up often when a new party left the hostel. The second stay was a lot better... More

The hostel is located very conveniently in Arequipa. The staff was very helpful with all questions that we had and they also provide storage for free. We had a private double room which was a bit stuffy as the only window it had was facing a common area so couldn't really open it. I think it's still good value for... More

Rarely do I rate a place as excellent, but Mango deserves this! From start to finish, service was excellent, all staff very helpful, great location right by main square, breakfast was tasty, and not just the normal bread roll and jam... all in all, superb value for money! Highly recommended!!

I made a reservation for seven nights via Hostelworld because people assure here that this is such a good hostel. I came here 1.30am and when the girl from the reception showed me the room I wasn't pleased for what I saw. It was such a small room for four girls to sleep. I had never seen so small dormitory... Kirsi,i was waiting for this review, obviously you are so bad person and you would write this here. First, you had a 7 nights reservation in my hostel (and made the previous afternoon) and you knew will be the last one to arrive in the room (and in the hostel) I wrote you telling you that the down bed is... Location is amazing: just one minutes from main square. Rooms are ok. The shower are very hot and the breakfast is above the average. Receptionists are very friendly. They helped us to sort some problem we had with a booking with cruz del sur. They also help you booking the colca tour. Don't take the '2d 1n without trekking' as you'll... More

This was THE PERFECT place to stay! The best part about it is the location. It is centrally located and walkable to many of the main sites. In addition, it was very clean, safe, and the staff was very helpful. They have common areas to watch TV and a small kitchen. They had a decent breakfast, nothing crazy. You should... More

We checked out of a different hostel and came here for our last 3 nights in Arequipa. We walked around and checked out most of the top rated hostels and we found this one to be the best. We stayed in a double room as a couple in our early 30's and the amenities were great, nice clean bathrooms with... More

I stayed 4 nights in this hostel and was really happy to choose that one. The price is really acceptable and the rooms have an own bathroom. The view from the rooftop is great! A big plus- you can use the kitchen. Cook with others, have your own dinner, it was something different I didn't have before on my journey.... More
