Very nice place in a great location! The rooms, the showers, the staff get 2 thumbs up. We booked the 2day 1 night Colca Canyon Trek from them, and the company they set us up with everthing worked out perfectly, and we were very happy with our female guide who taught us lots along the way.

Pros: Great location - steps away from the Plaza de Armas. Booked a taxi to the airport for us. Cons: Unfortunately we had a windowless, dark room (although a decent size!) Breakfast is included but it is very plain and served in a very plain room! There were no towels available for our room until 7.30pm as it was laundry...

We loved the location of Mango Hostel! It is literally just outside Plaza de Armas and we felt very safe in the area. The hostel was simple but clean, always had hot water. The free breakfast is a hit and miss, I think you need to get up early to get more food. Once we got up earlier and there...

This hostel is quite new. The owners are young. There is little room for packs and improvements are coming they say. But I loved this place. It is just off the main square, a very nice breakfast is served that gets everyone socializing, clean as can be, and it is quiet at night for good resting on nice mattresses. Takes...

The best thing is how comfy the beds are, including soft pillows and blankets. The location is brilliant, right near the square with the cathedral etc and right round the corner from el super supermarket. The hostel has an equipped kitchen, fridge and freezer with plenty of room as at the time the hostel wasn't busy. We stayed 4 nights...

We stayed here twice, on either end of a trip to the Colca valley. In both cases, the door jambs to our private rooms were broken, meaning the door could simply be pushed open, making it impossible to lock. Breakfast is the typical sweaty ham, cheese and cereal. Fresh papaya juice was a nice flourish. The staff is all but...

Great location, views of the volcanoes and friendly staff. Common areas and breakfast good. Breakfast starts a bit later if you have an early flight you might have to skip it. Wifi patchy but decent when it works. Only real issue we had was the phone number didn't work when we needed to contact them about a transfer.

This was a wonderful hostel we stayed at. The beds are super comfy, it's really clean and tidy. I would highly recommend this place for everything. It's worth to pay the extra and get a double room if you can afford it. I will say I spent one of my nights in a dorm on the top bunk and I...

This hotel changed the name to Mangos, I highly recommend it, because the location is great, good prices, clean, and they are very friendly. Includes breakfast, and its very complete, if you want you can use the kitchen to make your own food.
