Wow! It’s hard to begin—first the entire place is beautiful with a lovely indoor courtyard with fireplaces and seating for gatherings. The restaurant is better than all of the other great food we’ve had in Peru, the staff is over the top friendly, and the rooms are lovely. Very comfortable beds, clean rooms, and well furnished and designed spaces. The hotel is just up a few blocks from the main plaza in San Blas—very quiet with beautiful views of the city. This street is also where some of the very best shops are located. There is a wonderful bakery just next door, and a quiet park at the end of the block. I don’t typically write reviews, but this place merits the five stars and time it takes to review it. We had to take Covid tests to get back into the States, and they arranged for a nurse to come to the hotel to give them to us for a very reasonable price. Massages in-house for a fraction of the cost at home. Trust me on this one—no reason to look anywhere else to stay—and I am not easy to please—just ask my husband. Do not hesitate to book here. You will thank me.

The Casona is excellently located in the historic centre of Cusco with lots of restaurants around. There was a huge effort made to keep the authentic style of the big house but give it a modern touch. The many details invite the visitor to stroll around and learn about the restoration and cultural aspects. A special mention is the delicious and amble breakfast and great coffee. I highly recommend the property.

This is THE place to stay in Cusco. The staff is outstanding. Whatever you need they are there for you. Great location to walk to restaurants, sites, money exchange, shopping. Quiet oasis inside with cozy seating & fire pits. Inexpensive laundry drop off. Great, hot showers with high water pressure. Filtered drinking water. The restaurant is excellent. Delicious, healthy food. Best pisco sour I've had in 3wks in Peru. Rooms are comfortable with light, fresh air & heat!

We stayed here five nights and loved every minute. The staff were all so helpful and attentive, they arranged for us to get COVID tested, the restaurant was amazing. The hotel has a courtyard with umbrellas over outdoor seating and fire pits where we had the best time enjoying a cocktail and meeting the other guests. They even had blankets we could use if it got cool. LOVE this place.
