While I planned on spending one night there, I ended up staying for five days after coming down with strep throat and having to delay my inca trail hike. The staff, especially Ignacio, were incredibly accommodating. The place was adorable and rustic and within walking distance from main attractions in Cuzco. The breakfast was delightful, with different jams and freshly... More

We stayed only one night at Renacimiento but we wished we'd stayed longer. The place is adorable, an old courtyard building with spacious welcoming apartments. The breakfast is brought to your room and there is everything you'd need for an extended stay including kitchen type stuff. We stayed at Ecopackers before our trek and then here after and definitely wished... More

Stayed for 5 nights in April & couldn't say more nice things about this hotel. Clean, very spacious rooms, excellent service & constant hot water (not always a guarantee in Peru). The staff were so kind & helpful. Location is great - very close to the town centre, but still far enough away from busy areas to be very quiet... More

The room was spacious with overhead skylights, a kitchenette and bathroom. We enjoyed our stay and found Renacimiento to be clean quiet and comfortable staff is very welcoming and Dunkel the queen of the house adorable. The breakfast were good - the rolls delicious, the Wi-Fi was sufficient as was the copious hot water. Dank a the house dog was... More

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a total of 7 days. The rooms are very spacious which was a nice change from the hostels we had been staying at. The staff/owners were very friendly and accommodating. They let us check into the property at 5am, after an overnight bus from Puno (and we weren't charged for that "night"). They... More

I stayed at Renacimiento from May 23 - 30th. The hotel has so much charm and hospitality it's hard not to like it. One warning, there is no heat, so if you go during Peru's winter season beware. They supply you with plenty of warm blankets so it really wasn't a big deal but it still takes a bit to... More

We used this as a base for exploring Peru - going off for several days at a time, and then returning for a couple of nights. It was O.K. - but nothing more. I wouldn't stay there for any length of time. The staff were friendly. The rooms are really big, and having a kitchen was useful. However - it... More

We stayed six nights, three before and three after visiting Machu Picchu. The big attraction was a kitchenette where we could cook our own food. Vegan-no-oil is hard in restaurants in Peru. The kitchen was a double hotplate and a microwave, with a pot and a pan, and dishes, but adequate to our needs. No cleaning supplies, but the staff... More

We stayed here before and after our trek to Machu Picchu. It was well located, close to the main square and local restaurants, and had plenty of space for a family. The rooms were very basic and pretty cold and while the place had lots of character, 'rustic' would be an apt description of this accommodation. The staff were very... More

Cosy and comfortable, our little apartment (we would call it a housekeeping unit) at the Renacimiento suited my husband and me very well. Ignacio, who is fully bilingual, and his staff were great--always helpful--and our apartment was kept very clean. Mid-way through our 9 day visit to Cusco we went to Macchu Pichu overnight. Coming back to the Renacimiento felt like... More
