We stayed here for 2 days before going to Machu Picchu and again for 2 days after. This bracketed the Machu Picchu trip nicely and gave lots of time to explore Cusco. The owner has been in the business for several decades and it shows. The suites are recently renovated and very nice (we stayed in two different ones). Breakfast...

Not only are Carlos and his sweet dog, Toby, excellent hosts, the San Blas location and spacious apartment-like rooms were an ideal base for us during our stay in Cusco. San Blas is a more laid-back neighborhood on the hillside with great cafes and boutique shops. Just a short walk to the Plaza de Armas and removed from the crowds...

I'm glad i chose this b&b after reading the reviews. The owner, Carlos was accommodating & helpful. I enjoyed the breakfast esp the bread, fruit jams & fresh orange juice. My one regret: should have requested for more pillows bcoz i always woke up with a headache maybe bcoz of high altitude

Stayed at Second Home Cusco for one night. Found it to be very cozy, safe and comfortable. We arrived in Cusco very early in the morning. We were given a room right way and welcomed with coca tea and breakfast. No additional charges for early arrival or extra breakfast. Carlos and Vicky were very helpful. They both spoke English which...

We were met by Vicky who welcomed us in the little courtyard and gave us coca tea. Our room was a loft space divided by a wall so my friend and I had our own space. It would be great for a family too. Second home is in the San Blas area, a lovely part of Cusco. We were departing...

Carlos was so sweet and very accommodating. The food was excellent and the room was charming. Clean, comfortable and quiet. Very well located in town and easy walking distance to Plaza de Armas. I would highly recommend Second Home to anyone traveling to Cusco.

Booked 4 nights here (was out of town for one of those). It's the kind of place where u come and go as you please but life in cusco lends itself to this with many early starts and trips out if town. Room was well laid out, living area, bedroom and bathroom with bath and shower. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast...

My wife and I stayed here before and after we did the Salkantay trek.Second home provides transfers both ways and Wilbur was waiting for us in the arrivals area in Cusco. We also used Wilbur for the sacred valley tour. It was a private tour and Wilbur was extremely prompt. He is a great driver and very trustworthy. Carlos and...

I am a 13 year old boy writing from my perspective to help parents. The owner Carlos is so nice and helpful. He helped arrange our airport transfers even in our next leg of our trip. THEIR WAS AN UNLIMITED SUPPLY OF BOTTLED WATER. They woke up at 5am to serve us breakfast for us to head to Machu Picchu....

Carlos is an amazing host. We got free airport transfer, and spacious room. The room we got is "balcony" room although there is not any... i recommend this one as it is to the back of the house thus no noise at night and the internet was super fast. the only con is that you have to duck to avoid...
