The location of this hotel is fabulous, as is the service. Easy walk to all tourist destinations. First we worked with Mercedes for the booking and airport pick-up arrangements and she was very attentive and accommodating to our needs. Upon arrival at the hotel, Carmen was there for our every request. We stayed for over a week, and took two...

My family and I enjoyed staying at Casa de Mama Cusco. Spacious and cozy. Mercedes was an excellent host. She replied to my emails very quickly and was very flexible as we had to modify our booking dates. She made all the arrangements for airport pickup and tours and was very helpful in making suggestions for restaurants, where to go....

The location of the hotel is firstly ideal near Plaza de Armas and many little streets with shops and restaurants. The staff were wonderfully helpful and attentive and the room was quiet and had everything that we needed. We would highly recommend this hotel.

Very colourfully decorated rooms, fairly large for what we expected. The service from Carmen was excellent. She was very friendly and helpful and although there was a language barrier we were usually able to communicate. The rooms are not heated or air conditioned, but they do have heaters that are helpful, and you probably won't get hot enough to need...

An excellent location-comfortable walking distance (7-8 minutes) to Plaza de Armas. Communicating with Mercedes was a breeze; she was very prompt and sought to accommodate my family's needs. Once on site, Carmen was an angel! She made sure we were comfortable (even allowed a room change) and informed. We always felt completely secure. Breakfast was prepared on site and tasty....

We enjoyed the location, quiet, and close to city center. The room has a terrific view of the city and natural lightning show. We could make coffee, cook small meals, and keep food cold. The owner and manager were nice and very helpful. They have installed on demand water heater units for each room so hot water is not an...

Mercedes was very friendly and helpful. Room was cozy, wifi worked very well, breakfast was good, and they were readily available if you needed anything. Have seen what peru can offer and for the pricing we definitely recommend casa de mama!

The rooms here are great if you want more independence - with private bathrooms and kitchenettes, and the staff are very friendly, but it is not worth the amount they charge. I was particularly unlucky, having been put in LIBRA, the room below the breakfast room (very noisy floors) and surrounded by bright corridors, which made it difficult to sleep....

Please check if you have hot water when you check in. Because no one is on site to support after 7 pm. You get stuck with a room with no hot shower. There so many other place you can stay at Cusco with staff support and a hot shower. It's not acceptable.

The accommodation is unique, quirky and cute. It's almost a tree house, having most of the apartments built around a living tree. Facilities are basic - bed, TV, heater, a 2-burner gas stove, kitchen sink, small fridge, microwave, basic crockery and cutlery. But they are sufficient if you want to stay in and make yourself something to eat. Of course,...
