I stayed at Casa de Mama for three nights in late May/early June and it was amazing. The location is perfect - right off of Choquechaca, a couple blocks from Plaza de Armas and a couple blocks from Plaza San Blas. My friend and I were picked up at the airport by Mercedes and Antonio who could not have been...

Casa de Mama is a wonderful place to stay either long term or short term. The location is perfect, very central. There are only six rooms, each with a kitchenette, which is perfect for breakfast and easy meals. Carmen and Mercedes are instant friends, contacts and substitute mothers. They helped me in many ways and fulfilled any room requests that...

This place is great to stay at, very central. Quite a few stairs to get to it so pack lightly. The host is well connected and has a great Restaurant on the square Los Balcones. I would recommend booking your own tours as we used the host to book our tour and we did pay a surcharge for that service.

Casa Mama is so filled with calmness and good energy that is it like a little oase in the middle of Cusco. The rooms are spread around a little yard, all the materials are of tree and some rooms have the most fantastic views - all of it makes you feel like you live in a tree house. I had...

My first trip to Cusco was incredibly special because of the wonderful accomodations and fantastic staff at Casa de Mama. Located near the Plaza de Armas, everything you could want or need for food, shopping, and site-seeing are at your fingertips. The rooms are modern and clean with amazing views of the city. There is no question about where to...

The owners and staff of Casa de Mama were very friendly and treated us like family. They did everything they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible (which can be a challenge when travelling with an infant!). The rooms are beautiful with great views overlooking the city and full of character with trees being a part of the...

We had a fantastic 3 months at Casa de Mama and I am recommending it to all my family and friends who are visiting. Mercedes and Carmen even organised our wedding with us! We got married in the heart of Cusco and it was a beautiful day. They not only made our stay brilliant but became great friends and we...

A nice hotel close to the centre, with a beautiful view over Cuzco city, and a very warm and cosy atmosphere. You feel at home and taken good care of.

Hey all, There are a million places to stay in Cusco and it can be a headache looking around for days to find the perfect place. These people were wonderful to me so I thought I would take the time to get it out there. The place is not a hotel at all. It is an assortment of rooms surrounding...

We love our Casa de Mama apartment, its got everything we need and Carmen and Mercedes and their families are just lovely, so kind and helpful! We found Casa de Mama while looking for South American Explorers Club. We knocked on the door in the beautiful little lane of Atoqsaykuchi and were immediately made to feel at home. Its a...
