The best feature for the hotel is location, centrally located and easy to walk to all the great surrounding restaurants. The hotel itself is clean and the staff was helpful. We stayed here for 2 nights prior to going on the inka trail and 1 night after completing the trail. This hotel fit the bill for what we were looking...

Part of a round Peru trip this was the second hotel we stayed in. The public areas were all clean and tidy and the staff friendly and helpful. Our room was very basic but adequate for what we needed. The buffet breakfast was nothing to write home about, but again it was adequate. The hotel is situated a short walk...

What a lovely hotel. Just round the corner from the Main Plaza and Cathedral at Cusco and with the Inca Museum next door. The staff are friendly, helpful and welcoming. The rooms are average in size. The décor and bathrooms are a little tired but clean. Each room has a safe. As in Peru the towels are small! There is...

Maytaq was the hotel provided by the travel agent/tour operator. The Cusco hotel options vary from 2-3.5 stars... Maytaq is a solid 3. The hotel serves the b&b purpose. The staff is always willing to to help. Hotel premises are always clean, the only downside was the really small accommodations for the first night before moving to Aguas Calientes. The...

Spent two nights here on return from Machu Picchu and it is almost a stones throw from the main square in Cusco which is really good and a lot better than the LP Los Portales on the El Sol avenue. The room we had was set back from the front which meant it was really quiet, spacious and clean, could...

My wife and I stayed in this hotel for 6 nights. The staff speak English and are exceedingly helpful and friendly. The room is very comfortable with good bathroom facilities. Sometimes it takes a while for hot water to run in the shower and occasionally it only reaches a warm temperature. There is no bar fridge, nor tea or coffee...

I stayed in one room which was cold and minimal. When I returned from MP they gave me a much better room in front with a window looking out on the street and it was warmer. I would have liked to have this room for my entire stay. The staff is friendly and the location right off the main square....
