Very impressed the moment we arrived via our complementary airport pick up. Very friendly helpful staff. We had a large room on 2nd floor, and our airport greeter brought up our luggage for us. We arrived about 8 am and were offered an early check in for $40 which included a buffet breakfast. Lots of options including cereals with milk...

We enjoyed two nights in a junior suite, which had a separate sitting room, good sized bedroom with desk, and nice bathroom. It was cold, so we asked for an extra space heater, which they provided promptly. Breakfast was minimal; we found if you ask, they will prepare eggs to order. (Use the little microwave/oven to help improve the croissants/breads!)...

A gem within 10 minute walk of the main square in Cusco. Not a chain a cookie cutter chain hotel, each room has it's own charter. Front desk staff extremely helpful. Only down side is hotel is a little off the beaten path but very safe.

We loved the rooms, we stayed 3 nights, 2 before Machu Picchu visit and one after. The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay in Cusco more enjoyable. Helped with ordering transfers and taxis at reasonable prices. Great breakfast. Rooms clean, fresh and beds large with good quality bedding, very comfortable hotel. Highly recommend.

Stayed here for two nights, one before starting the Inca Trail hike and one after finishing it. This place is located at a 5-10 minute walk from Plaza de Armas, super confortable walk especially before doing the Inca trail (:P). It has beautiful little courtyards with fountains and the rooms are spacious with large beds and very clean modern bathrooms....

There are lots of hotels to choose from in Cusco but if you choose Tierra Viva Saphi you will not be disappointment. We stayed 3 nights in January after we hiked the Inca trail. We acclimatized in Ollantaytambo before the hike. When we arrived in Cusco we did notice the altitude more. The location of the hotel is perfect. It...

This hotel has it all - super helpful staff, extremely clean and comfy rooms, new renovated feel, and convenient location. We talked with several staff members, and everyone was willing to go the extra mile (even help me haggle with a rude taxi driver over outrageous fare). Jorge is the man. The rooms look like they've been renovated and are...

We spent three nights at the beginning of our Peru visit and one more at the end. We were conveniently located near the main square and many fine restaurants. The rooms were comfortable and newly remodeled.

After a few disappointing experiences in Lima accommodations, we were delighted to enter the top floor suite of this lovely retreat, only steps from the historic square of Cusco. The staff could not be more helpful and welcoming, and the hotel is a gem!

Another boutique hotel in the Tierra Viva family, this location is small but offers the neat experience of staying in a typical Cusco building. It is located on a side street and you have to walk a bit to get to one of the main plazas, but that means that it is quiet. There are several great restaurants tucked away...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our hotel in Cusco is located in what used to be an elegant colonial residence. Throughout the hotel you’ll find a charming contrast between this imperial city’s rich history and modern convenience and comfort. Our spacious rooms are an invitation to rest, offering the ideal place to refuel and start a new day of exploration and discovery. As was characteristic in large colonial residences, our hotel has two interior patios where our guests can relax during a sunny afternoon or enjoy a soft breeze at the end of the day. ... more   less
