this is a cheap hotel (for Cuzco's standards). the double bedroom we were in was uncomfortable and cold, the triple rooms were better (warmer, less bright in early morning). the breakfast was basic, as it's a standard in the area (coffee, bread, butter and jam). be aware that it gets quite noisy as the walls are thin and all the...

The rooms can get a bit cold in the morning and the echo created in the lobby is heard from the room we rented at the second floor. Breakfast was very simple, bread with some jam along with tea and a juice. Very close to the main plaza and restaurants that don't rip you off are also near-by. Beware however...

My wife and I liked this hotel very much, but it could have been better. The bed was comfortable, the shower was warm, and there was a TV with a few English speaking stations. The staff was friendly. The WiFi was not great, but that was a continuing experience for us wherever we stayed. The biggest problem was that the...

I've been in several hotels with different prices but definitely Villa San Boas was one of the worst I've ever stay in. The pillows were terrible and some of them dirty, also you can run out of hot water in any moment. But the worst part is that the day I checked in my room didn't have towels, when call...

We booked our room here 5 days before we were checking in and were promised a room with a window. When we showed up (around 8:30PM) we had to wait 40 minutes for our room to be cleaned. The guy at the front desk kept telling us that he had someone working on cleaning the room and offered free breakfast...

This is the kind of place you go when everywhere else in town is full up. The pluses are it's on a nice atmospheric street, a short stroll from a lot of Cusco's attractions, restaurants and bars. However, I found the rooms very basic, the romos were scruffy and in need of updating, and there was a smell of sewage...

We were taken here by our taxi driver, after our flight from Cusco to Lima was cancelled. It looks fine from the outside, and is in a good location, maybe 5 minutes from the main plaza. We had a triple room for the two of us and our 11 year old son, which was a bit small for 3. It...

In a town where a bed in a dorm room can set you back $30, this hidden gem is a beauty. We were totally lucky, walked out of airport and local taxi snagged us up. We indicated we had no reservations and he said he had a sister who ran a hotel. OK, it is not his sister ....jaja! No...

My review earns 2 starts only because we had hot water consistently and the room was clean. The reception area where they serve the very basic breakfast (hardly worth mentioning) is FREEZING, (I recommend dressing as if you were going out into the cold Cusco air) the wi-fi never worked and the towels were all stained. Walter Cusi, as he...

we were hijacked at the bus terminal after a 10 hour bus journey from Arequipa by a lady saying this was a very good price, as my wife had food poisoning and wasn't in a good place we took our chances cos of circumstances. The place is a little bit out of the way but if you don't mind a...
