I stayed here twice on different days. Unfortunately the last stay was marred by the fact I was put in a room on the 2nd floor overlooking the bar and restaurant so it was quite noisy with revellers outside as it was a weekend night - all of which could be heard from the room. The room overlooked the street.... More

The hotel was fabulous. The location was also ideal. The service was terrific. We stayed in a balcony room overlooking the courtyard. It was very comfortable. We had a great time and I think it's the best hotel in Cusco.

We were here for two nights (including Christmas). We enjoyed a wonderful room upgrade over the entry courtyard. The free tour of the excavations under the facility was very interesting. Wonderful location and staff that went above and beyond! Don't miss the breakfast spread - great food that will fill you up for the day. Their coca tea station was... More

This was truly a special hotel experience. The hotel was a converted convent, so the hotel itself was very cool architecturally, but what really made the visit was the service. The front desk staff was gracious and helpful and my 22-year old son commented that it was the best bellman he had ever seen. We called and said we needed... More

I've spent upwards of 1,500 nights at Marriott hotels around the world and the JW in Cusco is easily the best property I've stayed at. The location is great, the hotel is beautiful, and pays tribute to the history of the site. The employees provided exceptional service. We also ate at the bar three times and found the quality of... The JW is about 2 blocks from Plaza de Armas - central city. The design is quite nice, with a beautiful lobby and common areas. The rooms are well appointed. Standard "Inca" rooms have plenty of space - although the bath can be a bit awkward. Breakfast was nicely presented and had good options for North/South American and European travelers.... More

The hotel is lovely, but the customer service is unparalleled. From the front desk, to the concierge and even the restaurant. We were impressed by the attention to customer service, but particularly impressed by Raul, our server at the Pirqa Restaurant (the restaurant ranks 4th within Peru). Raul went above and beyond. He not only served our food, he shared... More

It is such a lovely hotel in an old monastery that has been lovingly converted into a gorgeous hotel. The service was exceptional and the accommodations were beautiful. The breakfast buffet was such a delight each morning. The staff could not be more helpful and welcoming and with everything within walking distance, who could ask for more.

I had been wanting to stay here for a while, and they didn't disappoint. The staff is very professional and welcoming. Although we didn't get the room we wanted, I must say the installations are top notch. Beautiful building with great history. There's a free tour of the grounds at 6pm with a monk, to learn about the history of... More

great service, great location (block from Plaza de las Armas), clean, modern. So happy we stayed at this hotel and for the price, you can not do any better. They offer a free bar of hot teas in the lobby, available anytime. Make some Cocoa tea if you are feeling altitude sickness.
