The hotel is very classy in the sense that everything is old medieval times. The rooms are the same, the view is awful, inside of white walls, looks like prison. The food there is nice, but the altitude sickness is not very helpful. We went to machu pichu but I wouldn't go back there again if I was.

We stayed there one night at the end of our tour of the Sacred Valley and Machu Picchu. The staff was very friendly and the hotel modern and well kept. We ate dinner and breakfast and the food was fresh and tasted good. Couldn't ask for a better place to end our tour. Right in the middle of Cusco's main... More

We spent one night there and that was supposed to be the best hotel during our 2 week stay in Peru . The lobby and location is very nice. Rooms are small yet comfortable. The breakfast was not included ( only hotel in 14 days ) and very expensive. It is a nice hotel but very expensive for what it... More

To the Point: This was a very nice hotel. Beautiful artwork and craftsmanship throughout. True to pictures. The rooms were great- clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Service was always excellent. Impressed with turn down/maid service. Room was spotless and clothes folded upon return. (Just a few shirts) The staff was always polite and accommodating. The main restaurant was good for... More

Reception of Front Desk on arrival was unlike any other hotel Starwoods hotel we had ever stayed in before. Attentive and a bit over the top in my opinion. Over our four days stay, we tried the breakfast which was better than any hotels back in U.S. The tour desk provided last minute but pricey nearby outings to Sacsayhauman and... More

Stayed in his hotel for 2 nights, one on the way to Machu Picchu and one on the way out. The hotel is right next to the historic Qurikancha. It is very comfortably appointed with several courtyards. The staff, well appointed rooms, and amazing building/location, make this hotel a true treasure. Our group loved the large breakfast buffet and central location. All of the concierge recommendations were top notch! The only downside was the ability to hear the late night music from the nearby disco.

This is a most elegant, spacious hotel decorated according to elaborate, 19th-century notions of luxury. The rooms are very handsome, with all expected amenities except for functional air-conditioning or window-screens. The restaurant is rather expensive. The staff is extremely polite and courteous in a somewhat formal manner.
