Great Location within 1 block of Plaza in Cusco. ATM and market also located within one block. Excellent resturants nearby. Very friendly and accomodating staff. Breakfast is simple- yogurt, bread, fruit, cereal. Hotel can be loud in the mornings as most guest are getting up early for departures to Machu Pichu, etc. Free WiFi is best accesible in the lobby...

On the whole I was very happy with this hotel. It was reasonably priced, close to the Plaza des Armes and major tourist facilities, and the staff were helpful and responded quickly and politely to all requests for service. My room had a heater and loads of blankets to keep off the night time high altitude chill air. The complimentary...

I arrived in Cusco with my mom for a week stay and when we arrived at the hotel it seemed ok and the location was great. Within 10 Minutes we received horrible service, the woman at the from desk could not be bothered to help us, we were trying to make a phone call and our phone in the room...

Stayed here as part of our Intrepid tour around Peru. We stayed here on two occasions- the first time was in an adequate sized room and the second time was in a big room. Both rooms were fine, comfortable, warm enough (although they do have heaters) and good enough for us! If you just arrive in Cusco, the altitude can...

I stayed at the Emperador Plaza twice during a two-week visit to the area. The rooms were fairly priced for the quality, the breakfast was delicious, hot water was plentiful and the hoteless, Maria, was very accommodating. Maria went above and beyond to help me find the exact address of an organization I wanted to visit that was unexpectedly quite...

I stayed twice in this hotel in different rooms, one of which was adequate the other less so. The first room was large but cold and distinctly shabby. The heater - provided on request - made no effect at all to the temperature, and I wasn't even there in the coldest part of the year. The room opened onto reception,...

Found this place by accident. The hotel staff was always accomodating and competent. Our room was clean and spacious. They cut us a deal for the 4th night that we stayed. A little bit pricey, but many hotels in the area are. Safety was never an issue. They acutally serve you a breakfast that is a little more than the...
