The service was great and the location was perfect. Jack's Cafe is just down the street and the perfect place to eat!!! My only complaint was that the room is not as luxurious as I expected for the price we paid but still CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE. I guess I was just expecting a more modern decor... although now that I...

We were able to check in at 9 AM. This was important to me as the plane landed in Cuzco at 8 AM. A hotel representative (he is bilingual: English/Spanish) and a driver went to pick us up at the airport. Check in process takes some time so you have to wait at the lobby. You will be offered a...

We spent two nights at the Hotel Rumi Punku sandwiched around our 1 day, 2 night trek to Machu Picchu. We were served coca tea upon arrival while our rooms were being readied. Everything was very good, including the hot-cooked early morning breakfasts, the hot showers, the free wi-fi in the rooms and the four computers in the small business...

After a nightmare of a canceled flight on Taca (see related forum post - we recommend LAN and not TACA to fly to Cuzco if there is any possibility of bad weather) this place was a slice of heaven. The breakfasts were great. The private spa was unbelievably awesome. The location of this hotel is perfect and the staff went...

We are a family of four and had a terrific stay at Rumi Punku for two nights in December 2011. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the staff was very gracious and helpful. Our 10 yr old daughter enjoyed exploring the hotel with all the different levels, lovely gardens, and hidden courtyards. I booked the hotel based on TripAdvisor positive...

I chose this hotel after reading these reviews, and we were not disappointed. The hotel is very charming and beautiful, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the service was excellent, the location is perfect and overall I thought it was a great value. The breakfast was simple but delicious - very similar to every other breakfast we had while in...

We booked at Rumi Punku based on reviews on TripAdvisor, and were anticipating a good experience. What we found exceeded even those expectations. At This hotel, you will get the kind of support and assistance that you would normally find in a 5-star in a world capital. All of this on a 2-3 star budget. The staff are extremely solicitous...

We stayed here in October 2011 for three nights total. The location is excellent, uphill from the Plaza de Armas, which is much quieter and with fresher air than staying down on Saphi, for instance. Then you are halfway up to San Blas and have a head start on the walk up to Saqsaywaman. The rooms are arranged around courtyards...

We stayed several nights here, but my son left a wallet containing $300 US cash plus credit cards. The staff saved it for us. I gave a $30 tip to the housekeeper.
