We stayed at Orquidea for two nights, and then we came back for an additional three nights after our Inca Trail tour (with Cusi Travel, highly recommended!) Our experience at Orquidea was very positive, especially during the second stay as we had a much bigger room. Both rooms were clean and comfortable, though there is no heat so it can...

My husband and I stayed for a week in October before and after we did the salkantay trek. The hostel is perfectly located to explore Cusco. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and friendly. The rooms are cosy, quiet and clean. We were able to store our luggage safely when we went on the trek. Breakfast was...

We booked for one night in Orquidea Real but decided to stay two extra nights backside the room was so nice and spacious. The owners are very friendly and helpful, they even entertained our attempts at Spanish. Nicely located too.

I stayed 2 nights before and on night after my salkantay trek to Machu Picchu. The owners are just fantastic. Rooms are simple but very clean and cozy. Many layers of blankets and a heater kept me warm at night (and I do freeze easily). Breakfast was also very nice with a view over Cusco city. The hotel is located...

My partner and I stayed at his hostel for a week during the end of September to October. Having stayed at the most horrendous hostel in Lima we were greatly relieved to find this place was everything the one in Lima was not. The staff are friendly without being invasive and happy to help out in any way they can....

This hostel is a quick walk to the main Plaza which was great! (also opposite a spa where we got massages after our trek!) It is up a couple of steps, but not as difficult as some reviews make it out to be! Our room was huge, clean and comfortable. A little cold at night, but there was extra blankets...

Girlfriend and I stayed a few nights here either side of our trek to Machu Picchu, and I can recommend it. It's in a great location, pretty central but it's up some steps so far enough away to mute most of the traffic noise. Rooms are really nice, but fairly cold (end of August - early September). Showers amazing - at...

Two good things about the property: -fantastic staff -close proximity to Place des Armes Beware that this property is situated halfway up a very steep set of stone stairs. There is no road access so you will have to navigate your luggage up these stairs. And every time you come and do, you will have to deal with these stairs....

We booked this hostel by the reviews people were given it. But we found out that they had over booked and didn't have our reservation, even though we had our emails confirming the hotel. We were given a room despite the mix up, but you would figure if the temps drop around 30-25 degrees you would have heat? Or heaters...

Our stay at Orquidea was wonderful! The rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was so welcoming! They really treated us like family and helped us however they could. Breakfast was provided every morning. Edu was so helpful in giving us tips on what to see in Cusco, and Eduardo had fantastic restaurant recommendations. It was a bit chilly...
