El Balcon was a wonderful place to stay and I would absolutely stay there again if I return to Cusco. The rooms are clean and warm, the courtyard is beautiful and the included breakfast was filling and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful - especially Angel who is an absolute gem and truly enhanced our experience. He was responsive...

What a fantastic hotel! You really feel 'at home' there! Such a great little garden, beautifully decorated rooms (so glad that they were in 'Cusco style' and not 'contemporary / modern'), fantastic breakfast (best pancakes ever!, delicious homemade Granola, very good coffee - and it's all organic!), nice & helpful people! Kudos to the housekeeping team : it was so...

The location, service and installations were perfect. You just need to be trained to go up there and if you are going there, you definitely will ;) It is near the Plaza de Armas and the best restaurants.

Our room at El Balcon felt like a real treat after the Inca Trail. The room was spacious and light and the beds were super comfy with their thick duvets and alpaca blankets. We enjoyed our stay very much, but felt it was slightly overpriced compared to other similar (and more central) places in Cusco.

Only issue was our laundry was switched with another room but was easily and quickly sorted. Also nothing to do with the hotel itself but because of the one-way busy street it is on, if going on a guided tour, make sure you are waiting outside before the expected pick-up time or else they can become very impatient, very quickly!...

This hotel was so cute! Garden inside is beautiful and food was tasting. The only thing is "garden view". Garden view means you have it when you open the door of your room :) There is only one room with that beautiful private balcony. Overall, I would definitely go back.

El Balcon is a great place to stay in Cusco! My wife and I stayed here on our way to Machu Picchu. The staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was delicious. The view of Cusco was spectacular. The location was within walking distance of the central square. I highly recommend this place for visitors of Cusco.

I can't recommend El Balcon highly enough. It's beautifully appointed, both in the bedrooms and public areas, with a lovely breakfast room/informal restaurant - but what really stood out for me was the friendliness of the staff. Nothing was too much trouble, and when I returned for a final night after my trip to Machu Picchu, it felt like coming...

El Balcon is a good place. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable front desk staff.Good location, lots of character Decent breakfast (I am sure that quite a few people would disagree with me on this score. But I am not very demanding when it comes to food). The only drawback really is a common court yard. It is very beautiful, but one...
