Miguel and family were so helpful. They assisted us with booking taxi's. They kept our luggage while we hiked the Inca Trail. Loved their dog, Tito. It was like a home away from home. The water in the showers was a little problematic but I think that is probably more of a Cusco issue than a Wara Wara issue. The...

This review is just based on my email interaction with Miguel (the owner). Due to an unforeseen circumstance we had to cancel our whole Peru trip and when I contacted the Hostal, Miguel was prompt, courteous and extremely helpful and cancelled our reservation without any penalty. We couldn't make it this time, but for sure will rebook this hostal when...

The location is not great-it looks like only a couple blocks from the city center, but is actually farther away and up a hill (on the plus side there is a nice view). The owners were very nice, but the room/bathroom was somewhat run-down, and was also noisy since it was adjacent to the common area.

I can't say enough good things about the couple that runs this hostel or the hostel itself. Very accommodating to travelers, especially with everyone coming and going at different times of the day. The love and work they've put into this little hostel is very apparent. When we chatted them up about it, they were so excited to share their...

My boyfriend and I had a great stay here. Miguel and his family were so helpful including getting my phone halfway across Peru for me when I left it in the room after our stay! They also let us store our bags when we went on the inca trail. The view from the balcony over Cusco is amazing (definitely worth...

This hostal was such a tremendous find. Room was clean and bed was warm and comfortable. Breakfast was juice, tea, coffee, bread and eggs. Tea at any time during the day. The bar was a sweet bonus and cool spot to spend some time. After a heavy day in the city, you could kick back and enjoy a beer, cocktail...

Only had a brief stay here after arriving late after our Salkantay trek. Expensive for what it is (but so is all of Cusco). Booked a double room but given a family room Amazing view over Cusco and Plaza de Armas Good breakfast - omelette and jam and bread Friendly family run place! Cute dog and kids!

Hostal Wara Wara is a little bit of home away from home! Miguel and his family were so warm and welcoming! I can't say enough positive things about my two nights here. Views are spectacular! Breakfast was good, rooms were comfortable, LOVED Tito, and appreciated the service that Miguel provided. Would highly recommend this hostal if you want a warm...

This small hostal has a great personal service. The place is clean, quiet and has magnificent view of the historic district of Cusco. Two blocks from the main square everything is close to you (up hill of course). We had some trouble with our trip plans but Miguel and his family where always supporting us in every situation.

Yes....you will have to walk up hill... you don't get amazing views without climbing so don't complain about the walk if you want the view. The only set-back was the water pressure but it was fine in the morning. The vibe of this place is so homely and you'll have a much more authentic experience because it's a B&B. If...
