We had only a short stay here. The stay was very pleasant and we all loved it. The dorms were very clean and the owner friendly as well as fluent in English. Only things negative might be the location,a bit far off in the direction of the slums and the noise level due to those idiotic trains who keep whistling...

We stayed at this hostel 3 times during our Peru trip and each time our stay was comfortable and we loved the cozy nature of Piuray. They are located a 20 minute walk from the historical core and even walking back uphill while adjusting to altitude was not a big deal. The owner Aydee is lovely as is all the...

We loved this hostel, the host is friendly & flexible eg made breakfast early, check-in early etc. Very good breakie, view is incredible, good/relaxed vibe. A 10min walk from central plaza but we felt safe walking home before 9pm (two girls). Rooms were a bit cold but blankets available. Really enjoyed our stay - thank you!

I stayed in Piuray for 5 nights with a friend of mine and we loved it! Mostly because the staff was totally attentive, helpful and nice but also because our room was big, spacious, comfy and with an amazing view. The staff are fabulous. They try to help you with everything you want, are very nice and find always a solution in case of problem. The breakfast and the view of cuzco from the terrace are great. It is so far our best hotel of the trip. The room was perfectly clean, bathroom perfect and water always hot.

We have spent in total about a week at this hostel before and after our Salkantay Trek. We especially liked the great hospitality as our host was always open to answer any questions and made us feel very welcome. We stayed in three different rooms with private bathroom and always appreciated the cleanliness and large space for putting our stuff....

Overall we would recommend this hostel, if you know what to expect. The rooms are dated, the beds aren't super comfortable and there is a damp smell in the rooms. That said, the bathrooms are clean and have lots of hot water, breakfasts are good and you can eat in the sunshine overlooking the city (see photo) and the staff...

Location is about 15 minutes from the main square, Plaza de Armes. It is a little bit steep on the walk back but not far so not a problem to walk everywhere. Absolutely incredible view over Cusco! The hostel staff are excellent, very friendly and keen to help. Fresh breakfast in the morning and lovely clean rooms with warm showers....

My boyfriend and I stayed at Piuray for a total of 5 nights, before and after our inca trek and really enjoyed our stay. Aydee the host is incredibly nice and accommodating with any questions or help needed. We were immediately upgraded from day 1 to a room with en-suite as she had this available for us at no extra...

This is a lovely, homely hostel but it is slightly out of the way - approx 15 mins uphill from the main square. This didn't really bother us at all as a taxi was only about £1 into town! The rooms are lovely - some ensuite, others have a shared bathroom which is a little chilly but that's all part...
