We started off here as a base for our mission trip to Chacabamba this is the best hostal I have ever been to. Beautiful grounds and rooms with the most welcoming and helpful staff.

Amazing view and architecture, but in the end is not functional!!

Yes taxis stop at the front door although the lane is very narrow.The problem you may have is that although the hotel is pretty central it is half way up a fairly steep lane.The altitude is such is such that even fairly fit people tend to puff quite a bit when walking back to the hotel although it's only steep for less than a hundred yards. When down the hill it's about 10 minutes,or less, walk on the flat to the central square
