I stayed like a couple of weeks and the service was good. Breakfast was ready every morning at the desired time and the staff is very helpful when it comes to answering questions about Cusco and finding your way. The rooms are cosy and the common area is big, impressive with a lot of green. Nice place to hang around...

We stayed for two nights which was just enough to get a feel for the local area. Main areas are in walking distance, about 10 minutes. Only thing I did not like was you could hear people all over the hotel. Some people either checked in early or were up early & they were being loud and woke us up.

The first thing that struck me at Hostal Cusi Wasi was how welcome the personnel made me feel. I was immediately inactivated due to altitude sickness and the staff enquired frequently after my wellbeing and provided me with very effective medication in addition to the coca tea (and other tea sorts) that you can help yourself to anytime. My room...

We expected very amiable staff (travel Guide “Routard”). We were disappointed. They were helping with a bit of insistent. Slightly nonchalant. Don’t expect quiet nights. You can hear what’s going on in the main patio and the trains nearby are loud as well. Overall, it remains an OK option for low budget nights in Cusco

I really like this hostal. It is very home-y. I felt like I had a lot of privacy here and was cared for here. Simple yet sufficient accommodations. Yes, truth be told, it lacked some luxurious things but for the price, can't be picky. I had a great experience.

Cusi Wasi was just what I hoped for: mid-range for price, high on character, good service, great location. Wouldn't call it luxury as the rooms were small and fairly basic, but the pictures you see don't do justice to the charming of the lush atrium that was a pleasure to relax in. The weather was a bit cold in June...

Give this hotel a skip--the rooms are tiny, terribly maintained, and dirty (hairs on the bed and floor, mold, stains). Quite cold with no working heaters in the winter. If you're a backpacker on a budget, this may work for you, but for everybody else look elsewhere. (The rooms are all around the central courtyard and you can hear any...

Unfortunately various things went wrong during during the stay of these guests. 1. There was an error in the housekeeping registry so that the room wasn't cleaned before it was assigned. The mistake was immediately resolved when the guest made his complaint. We took measures so that this mistake won't happen again. 2. There were indeed traces of mould present...

I stayed here twice during my trip to Machu Picchu and for the price, it is hard to complain too much. However, I did find some of the staff to be extremely unfriendly and not welcoming at all. Most of the staff seemed annoyed when you arrived the hotel and they needed to unlock the front door. No big problem...
