Only slightly up the hill but exhausting enough to get to...if you can push through you won't be disappointed. The hostel looks like an old colonial house with various floors and windowed rooms all looking inwards to the courtyard which is covered in bespoke furniture and plant life. Our room size was fine and the shower had decent power. Breakfast...

Super nice place to stay. Excellent rooms, clean & pretty. Excellent attention from all personnel. Great location, a 10 minute walk to downtown, Plaza de Armas. We loved the fact that they picked up from the train station on time! Will surely recommend!

Didn't know what to expect - new country & new hotel But it was a great experience to do Machu Picchu and stay in Cusco at Hostal Cusi Wasi. Even tho they spoke very little English they picked us up at the airport in Cusco with a sign with our name on it and they were very hospitable and helpful...

Loved this little quaint hostel. Rolf made sure we had everything we needed and more. I highly recommend staying here. If you don't have something you need they will help you find it. Breakfast was lovely and there was coca tea to help with the altitude whenever you wanted it. There is a cute little bar where one can try...

My son and I really enjoyed staying at Cusi Wasi in its fantastic central location, just five minutes walk from the squares of Cusco. The hotel was clean and priced reasonably for our purposes-- a four-day visit to Cusco, Machu Picchu, and surroundings. The interior of the hostel was nicely decorated, charming, and tidy, and we found the staff (especially...

While staying in Cusco, Peru we had chosen to stay at Hostal Cusi Wasi. It was a great choice. The staff was very warm and welcoming! They even make you breakfast in the morning. The rooms were clean. You have your own rooms with your own bathroom. The rooms are locked so your personal items are safe. Location was great!...

We stayed three nights at Cusi Wasi. One of the staff actually waited for us at the airport even though our flight was an hour late. So kind. The accommodations are basic, but very comfortable. I would stay there again.

From the moment of arrival until the day of departure the staff was very warm and helpful, going above and beyond!! The rooms were comfortable, cozy and spacious. The hostel itself is lovely!! The breakfast each morning was great. The location was convenient, very close to all that you may need or want...markets, restaurants etc.
