Staff was friendly and willing to please the guests. Rooms were clean and breakfast was great.
Recommend that all receiving staff learn English. The establishment is central and yet the room was very quiet.

Hello, As far as I remember the train station is out of the city so I would recommend to take a taxi (actually I dont think there is other way to get there). There are two train station, one is called Ollanto and other one which is like half way from Cuzco to Aguascalientes.
Hostal el Triunfo is situated very close to Plaza de Armas, so the main centre of Cuzco.
Concerning Machu Picchu, I totally recommend to go to Aguascalientes one day before going to MP. This is the only way to see MP in the morning and avoid crowds. You can take a bus that takes you to MP at 6 o clock in the morning.
Have fun! :)))
