This hostel is tiny with very few rooms but it is right off the Plaza de Armas. The rooms are spartan, small but clean and I believe they all have private bathrooms. I think I paid 80 or 90 Soles for a single room. Tina the manager is extremely nice and helpful. Her English is not great but if you... More

This hotel is very conveniently located. Here is what I liked about it: location, clean, hot water, nice staff, fair breakfast in the morning. Here is what I thought could be improved upon: the rooms were cold (I slept with my sweater on) and you will probably need ear plugs because of the location (clubs near by and people out... More

Hostal Suecia I is just fair! It is not charming, in spite of the internal balcony and the hanging chandelier, but the rooms and bathrooms are clean, matresses are good and the localization (half square from Plaza Mayor) is very convenient. Considering that prices in Cusco tend to be expensive, Hostal Suecia is a good option. The breakfast is fair... More

The staff is very friendly and helpful, but the knowledge of English is poor. The hostal is very close to the central place in Cusco, Plaza de Armas. The breakfast is every morning the same but is good and enough to start the day. I arrived in the morning at 7 and they let me in my room without extra... More

We stayed in Suecia 1 on two separate occasions, when we first arrived in Cusco, using it as a base as we travelled to Inca Trail and again before we flew out of Cusco. We paid 120 soles for a matrimonial room, there was no low season price but the good thing was that the hostal was very quiet and... More

My favorite thing about this hostal was that it was steps away from the main square in Cusco. I was so easy to go to a restaurant, find a money exchange, go souveneir shopping or just hang out. The room itself was simple but very clean. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast is provided and is simply but a good start... More

We stayed at Hostal Suecia I for three nights, then we went to Machu Picchu, then we came back for two more nights. It was no problem to leave our bags there while we were gone. The staff was very nice and friendly and we felt quite at home there, and the location was excellent. We paid 100 soles/night. The... More

Clean room, helpful staff, near all the attraction, only disadvantage was the staff don't speak any English. I would still recommend this place highly. Location is great, head a great time in walking to the plaza. was quiet at night so good for restful night, breakfast was basic but not bad.

We liked this place a lot. The service was great, the location is excellent, the breakfast was decent and the staff was awesome. Our room was Room 310 on the top floor (a triple) and it was nice and quiet because it is back from the street. There are a couple of night clubs up the street a ways and... More
