When I heard hostal I expected low-budget, but this is a very nice hotel. Rooms are varied and attractive accommodating couples to families. My only issues were that noise from guests and even doors opening/ closing carried throughout the building. Narrow spiral steps lead from the first floor to the other 2 floors. Staff is helpful, friendly, and nice. Some...

Just experienced the best hotel service ever.... A few days ago I was tuning my mandolin and broke one of the strings... I was sad cause it's an Ecuadorian mandolin and each string has a different colored feather, a unique design feature that makes them really hard if not impossible to replace. Yesterday, I was moving hotels and as I...

We stayed in the top floor quadruple room for three nights. Amazing view of Cusco city, particularly at night. The room can get very cold but you can ask for a space heater. The staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable - fresh, made to order breakfast every morning. The bread was so good! The only...

This hotel is great!!! The staff are very friendly and made us feel at home right away! The rooms are cozy, quaint, yet very nice and clean. We stayed here on our first night in Cusco, and returned once we came back through Cusco because we loved this hotel so much. I highly recommend this hotel and do not have...

Arriving in Cusco, exhausted after 2 weeks of daily peru-hop city visits, this bed breakfast was like a welcoming Oasis. Staff, accomodations and owners were just wonderful. I've stayed at 5 start US resorts and rank this little heaven up to par with the best of them. Ceasar even bought a large bag of coca leaves for the Lares Valley...

Four of us stayed in the top floor room for a few days while acclimating for the Inca Trail. Such a charming neighborhood with markets, restaurants, laundry all close by. Walking distance to the Plaza de Armas, cathedrals and ruins. Cecil and the staff were so welcoming, flowers on the table at breakfast, fire in the chimenea and freshly squeezed...

I stayed there twice- once in a double room and once in a quadriple -room (4people) It's a great hotel, good breakfast, good location, a the "alternative" and "arts" area. Thee are nice hidden cafes very close. The only thing I didn't like that the second time I stayed, the taxi that picked us up was not included (eventhough they...

We had a large room with an amazing view of the city and the surrounding mountains. Staff was warm and friendly as well as being helpful. Great breakfast. We stayed 5 days and loved it. Also readily available hot water (there is an on-demand heater on the balcony).

We stayed at this Hostal on two different nights and each time we had a different room. Each room in the Hostal is unique in the decorations and layout, and the type of room will depend on the number of people. Our rooms accommodated up to four people. Breakfast was provided each morning and consisted of eggs, bread, fruit, and...
