This hostel is located right on the river and has great views. Many hostels in Iquitos are very noisy because of all the moto taxies, but the black sheep is on the end of a dead end road and is very quiet. There is a kitchen to use. The family who run the place are very lovely people, and I...

I made a reservation online for one price. Got to Iquitos and stayed one night there, but they charged me a lot more. Plus they have a bar and was also expensive just a drink there. Was my first night, and now, after 3 weeks in Iquitos I know those prices were pretty expensive for absolutely a normal hostel

We found this hostel by accident and are so glad we did. Pretty basic facilities - no wifi, no breakfast, cold showers (standard for iquitos) but definitely worth the stay. As part of my return to Iquitos, back from the jungle i stayed in the blacksheep hostel for two nights with a group of friends.
