Four nights at the Casa Morey: comfortable, clean, and spacious rooms with a/c, friendly and helpful service, excellent location. Coming from further up the river, and going further down, this for us was a super stay in a great house. Rosa, Tom, and Volki CH/PE

I really appreciated the air conditioning, the complimentary airport pick up, the cleanliness and the quietness of the hotel. The location is perfect. It is a luxurious and more pricey choice compared to other options in Iquitos. I didn't really feel that comfortable there because all the grandness of the building felt quite impersonal and even cold. Personally, I probably...

Beautiful colonial building, with large, spacious rooms and really high ceilings. In a great location on a plaza overlooking the river and just a few minutes walk from my favourite eatery, Dawn on the Amazon, as well as the Shaman's market, boat tours and the main Plaza. There are always mototaxis waiting outside if you want to go further afield...

After spending a few days with locals in an Amazonian Village deep in the jungle, it was amazing to step into an air conditioned hotel lobby and be welcomed in English. The hotel is by local standards is refined and architecturally impressive with high ceilings and doors/windows. The bedrooms are light and airy and have great AC. The bathroom is...

The Casa Morey Hotel is on the edge of Iquitos, along the old rubber boom waterfront and now tourist center of the city. Built as the mansion for one of the rubber barons it is restored to its glory with modern, comfortable rooms and retains the look and feel of a grand mansion. For the comfort, charm and location I...

This is an old house that used to belong to a Rubber baron. There is a lot of history. The rooms are full of old paintings and original features but made very comfortable. The air con was very good. Plenty of hot water. The rooms clean and the bed very comfortable. However what makes your stay here is the people....

We stayed for only one night and day in this Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was air conditioned, beautifully appointed and large and spacious and very very clean. The breakfast room is very beautiful and the food was of a good variety and well cooked. The hotel is located right on the main Malecon, so...

I was part of an Earthwatch group, and stayed at the Casa Morey in late August and again in mid-September. What a glorious hotel! The rooms are enormous, with beautiful century-old tile floors, high ceilings and huge windows. The rooms are sparsely furnished, but I had everything that I needed, The bathroom was also quite large, with a deep tub/shower,...

We had two stays at the hotel before entering and after leaving the jungle. The rooms are huge (we had rooms 2 and 3) with great views of the Amazon River. It is worth going just to understand a little better how the rubber barons lived. The rooms still have a lot of the original tiling, the bed and bathroom...
