I went to Lima for a business trip for 2 weeks, and I've picked this hotel, because it was the closest hotel to the customer site i had to go.
Usually the company allows us to stay in good hotels, depending on the budget, but I personally really don't mind staying on simpler ones, as long it has a good internet connection and dinner service,
New Corpac is a very simple hotel. The staff is very friendly, and although it's simplicity, they have basically everything you need there.
There seems to have an optional japanese style breakfast, but they said it's charged, and needs to be scheduled previously.
The problem of this hotel, is the location. It's located in the middle of a residential neighborhood, so there are not much of restaurants, malls or supermarkets around, by walking distance.
But overall, considering the cost and benefits, it's a reasonable.
Since my trips are usually of business purpose, I rather stay in an hotel that have plenty of options around, so hardly i'll come back. But if you are looking for a simple, peacefull and a cheap place to stay in Lima, I'll recommend it for sure.

Although the staff makes its effort to make you happy during your stay, the hotel is in need of life. It would be nice if there were some music and more light in the common areas, if the menu were cheaper and offered more variety of food. The breakfast is clearly low-cost, but when you see the price of the staying you really expect something else.
But the big problem with this hotel is that everything made of cloth is in need of a renewing. Sheets, duvets and curtains look very old and smell of cigarette smoke. In the whole hotel carpets and chairs are very dirty. The location is something that contributes for the guest to feel unhappy. For the same price (or even less) you would stay in a modern, often renewed Ibis in a more lively district such as Miraflores, that would certainly offer more variety of meals.

Service was great, Bell hops were very attentive. Front desk spoke both English also, Taxi for the airport came on time and I was notified of its arrival both times. Breakfast is ok. After only the 2nd visit the Bell Hop remembered me.

I arrived to Lima, early in the morning. Taxi drivers at the airport never heard from this hotel. Finally, I got one willing to take me, he was complaining all the time telling me that the location of the hotel is far from everything. I arrived at the hotel and almost inmediatelly, I was approached by the manager. He told me that I have to pay the FULL STAY at that moment!. I was wondering If look like something that could not pay a TWO STAR HOTEL!!!, unbelievable!. Anyway, I stayed there only few hours. The TV cable never worked, bathroom with the cheapest toilet paper ever. The breakfast the offered me was like a Happy Meal from MacDonalds, kid´s jam, awful coffee, and butter hard to eat. I was there for a night. Bad value for the 90 dollars I spent!.

The hotel needs a deep refurbishment.
The carpets need to be cleaned since there are spots on them.
The internet is good.
The restaurant has not many options and smells strangely.
The staff is kindly and helpfull.
The location is not very good to reach the shoppings and restaurants by walking.
The area seems not very safe.
