This place is more of a guesthouse than hostel, so it's a little bit on the quiet side. We liked this. Our room was clean, bed was comfy and we had free cable tv. Breakfast is the standard for South America. We had free wifi which we made good use of. Leo (who runs the hostel) and her family were...

We stayed in the 28US$/night room, and it is quite spacious and very clean. The staff is very helpful in telling you how to get around in Lima using local buses and which zones to avoid due to safety reasons. When it rains a lot (which seems to be very uncommon in Lima, but we were so lucky), the bathroom...

The best thing about this inn is that the family running it are very friendly and nice people. It also has a good, safe location, good breakfast (included) and the bathrooms are super clean. The private room we were in, the cheaper one with private bath for USD 25/night, was cramped and it was difficult to keep our stuff in...

I had a fantastic time here -- I can't imagine a better value (28 USD/night for a spacious private room with attached bathroom), better location (close to the beach and the center of miraflores, lots of restaurants) or better staff (Rolando & Leo? were super helpful and made me feel very welcome). The room/bed/bath-room was very clean and the breakfast...

Leo and her family are extremely welcoming and accommodating. They were so helpful with calling taxi's for us, notifying us of flight changes and helping us find our way around the city. Nothing is too much to ask. We stayed here multiple times throughout our trip to Peru and enjoyed every moment. It is clean, small and quiet. It is...

The Angels Inn had great service and clean rooms. We only stayed for one night before taking the bus to Cusco but it was a good hostel. My boyfriend and I stayed in a double with a private bathroom for 25 dollars and my friend in a room with no bathroom for 22. While these prices are not tooooo steep,...

I read some guidebooks and forums before leaving for Peru. I had 2 hostels to fit my budget and needs. After sending some emails back and forth to Karen and Monica who stayed at this hostel, I knew where I would stay. The Angles Inn was my home away from home in Lima. Leo and her husband, Rolando and son,...

I passed this place on my first visit to Lima after I had allready booked in somewhere else and wished I had chosen it. On my return I didn't try anywhere else. The rooms are large and have ample locker space for valuables and comfortable beds. All though The bathrooms are not en-suit they are some of the cleanest I...

I really liked this hostel for many reasons, it was my first time arriving anywhere solo, and Leo went out of her way to make me comfortable. The rooms were clean, hot water, nice free breakfast, and internet at your fingertips. Leo also was very helpful explaining the buses, the city, and places to go. Its right on a major...

The Angels Inn in Lima is not so much a hostel as it is an experience. Leo (the boudlessly energetic administrator), Rolando (her earnest husband) and their (very fun and funny) son, Erik are perhaps the warmest and most sincere `peolpe weve met in 3 months in south america. they consistantly went above and beyond what was required of them...
